The apartment is tastefully restored: it is found in a community center that was made in the beginning of the 20th century with an art nouveau entrance & very friendly stairs. The view from the veranda on the Third floor apartment is second to none w/a view of the hills of the Monsanto Park. The house is found in the old-city part of Lisbon Campo de Ourique in a typical, Portuguese community without mass tourism. You can get there comfortably with a picturesque street car drive (about 10 minutes) with the famous line 28 in Bairro Alto & if you want, also the Bairro de Alfama. Within walking distance from the apartment is the famous baroque church Basilica da Estrela. The beautiful park Jardim da Estrela is found in front of the Basilica. The casa-museum Fernando Pessoa is found on the way to the Basilica, while the parliamentary building is located shortly behind it. North of the apartment you will find the popular shopping centre of Amoreiras in a post-modern style from 80es.

A pastry shop and bakery with traditional specialties from Portugal and the island are found opposite of the house. There are countless cafes, restaurants, designer clothes stores, jewellers, shops for every taste, Aunt Emma stores and a large, old covered market with daily fresh fish, fruit and vegetables, old men barbershops and other interesting small stores - all on this small street. The garden Jardim da Parada is very child-friendly and a little further away is the park Jardim da Estrela in front of the baroque church Basilica da Estrela. Mentionable is also the old and very famous cemetery in Prazeres, across from the stop with the street train No. 28. You can walk through the Lapa district (very elegant and rich) and Madragoa, a former fishing district with a traditional Lisbon flair.

Starting 30 days before the rental term, the fee for cancelling your rental is the total rental price if no replacement was found. Towels and bed sheets are available.   • Dona Delminda is waiting for you with the house keys in the apartment. She lives by our apartment.
  • Cleaning services: 50€ / 1 to 3 persons, 60€ / 4 persons (max. 4 p.). Dona Delminda can clean the apartment at any time upon previous arrangements: 10 € / hour.
