After eight weeks of travel this place was a great way to end it. We were able to relax before our long flight home. It was also convenient to get to those places we had planned to see i.e Kassel, Wolfsburg, Frankfurt, without a new bed each night.

Our boys loved the yard and bikes. It was great we were on the edge of the village as it was quiet and felt like we were in the country.

The apartment was exactly like the pictures. It was very spacious, light and airy. The kitchen was very well equipt. The beds were comfortable and pillows able to be slept on, large, soft and mouldable. (After eight weeks of travel this is something you look for in a pillow.)

The village of Herbstien was fine for all our supplies. Especially the bakery as it opened at six so supplies could be got on the morning walk. The pub in the main street served very good food.

We had a great time here and would recommend it to all.
