On the ground floor you enter the living room with its fire place. From here you continue to the dining room and the fully equipped kitchen. Under the roof you find 2 bedrooms (1 double 160*200 cm, 1 twin 80*200 cm) and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The beds will be prepared at your arrival. Baby cot and chair are available by prior arrangement. The firewood is free of charge. You dispose of 800 m² private garden with view into the woods. Your kids can play in the sandbox and on the swing while you relax with a glass of wine. Gennes, a charming village, on the border of the Loire, is only 15 km ( 10 miles) from Saumur and 30km ( 20 miles) from Angers away. Shopping facilities are less than 1km (0.5 miles) from the gîte and open 7 days a week. Situated in the middle of the regional nature reserve 'Loire-Anjou-Touraine', the house offers an ideal starting point for cultural, gastronomic and nature related expeditions for every age.

Our self-catering accomodation is situated in the middle of the regional nature reserve 'Loire-Anjou-Touraine'. the house offers an ideal starting point for cultural, gastronomic and nature related expeditions for every age. Hikers and bikers will appreciate that the Domaine de Joreau is situated directly on the long distance path GR3 and the Loire Valley bike trail. Canoeing on the Loire, cycling along the Loire, flying over the Loire in a hot air balloon and taste the different wines of the Loire are our recommendations to fully experience the beautyness of this royal river.
