The dreamy village Le Valtin is located In the middle of the vosges mountains. The former cheese ripening ' Les Fromagères' is right in the middle of the village. The 200 year old building has been entirely renovated and now gives place to 3 spacious holiday homes, which can be reached by a common entry area. The apartments are equipped with all necessary comfort of modern living, but have kept their original character. The entire house 'Les Fromagères' with its 250m2 offers place for 14-20 persons. But you can also rent one of the 3 flats individually - Apartment Thérèse (45m2) for 2-4 persons, apartment Madeleine (67m2) for 4-6 persons and apartments Bernadette (135m2) with an open fireplace for 8-10 persons. Each unit has a Terrace and can use the rustic arch basement with a cosy tiled stove. Holidays in Le Valtin are ideal to break and relax. Swimming in the nearby lakes, hiking, winter sport or just savour the nature.

Wunderschöne Idylle im Schnee

Wir waren im März für 6 Tage in dieser renovierten Käserei und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung ist vom Allerfeinsten ausgestattet und auch optimal zugeschnitten. Besonders begeistert war ich vom luxeriösen Badezimmer. Die Wohnung liegt in einer absoluten Idylle. Hier kann man Mensch sein und hier kann man entspannen. Die Touristenhochburg Gerardmer ist allerdings nur ca 10km entfernt. Also wird es garantiert nicht langweilig. Da es kaum Handyempfang gibt, stellen die Besitzer gratis DSL-Empfang und Festnetztelefon zur Verfügung(sogar ins Ausland). Somit konnten wir auch online immer aktuell neue Ausflugsziele suchen und uns informieren. In der Wohnung wird ein Ordner mit allen erdenklichen Informationen in 3 Sprachen bereitgehalten - das ist Service pur!!! Im gemeinschaftlichen Gewölbekeller liegen Bücher, Spiele und sogar DVDs für jederman bereit - man muß ja nicht immer auf Tour sein und somit ist auch hier für Abwechslung gesorgt. Auch die Betreuung vorort war erstaunlich. Wir waren am Abreisetag schon früher fertig und fragten spontan an, ab wir die Schlüsselübergabe vorverlegen könnten und das war überhaupt kein Problem. Wenige Minuten später war die Dame schon da und wir konnten die Heimreise antreten. Das ist für französische Verhältnisse schon sensationell.
Wir werden hier auf jeden Fall noch mal Urlaub machen und haben dieses Domizil all unseren Freunden weiterempfohlen.
