Your holiday apartment in Cornus House, ideal for two persons, has an individual entrance, is new and has modern décor. It is comfortably furnished with 90 m² floor space. The municipality of Breitscheid and the district of Hochscheid are located in a sunny and quiet part of the Rhine-Westerwald natural park. Bonn and Coblence can be reached by car in about 45 minutes. Magnificent hikes, bicycle tours and Nordic Walking in the surrounding forest region are a stone’s throw away. We also welcome dogs. You have a large living room with a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom with shower as well as a storeroom. Apart from the bedroom, the floor is completely tiled.

Or just stay at home, and relax by our own Koi pond while you enjoy the view of Siebengebirge. Or you might prefer to find a quiet spot in the garden and settle down in a deckchair with a good book. Possible destinations in the surrounding region: ceramic workshops in ‘Kannenbäckerland‘, world heritage site Mittelrhein, Neuwied Castle, Neuwied Zoo, Maria Laach Abbey, Nürburgring, the Bendorf-Sayn Butterfly Garden, The Drachenfels and the Lorelei Rock. Burg Maus, Burg Eltz, Burg Linz, Altwied castle ruins, Rhine Park thermal spa at Bad Hönningen, river boat tours on the Rhine and the Mosel.

We welcome dogs: Your four-legged friends are warmly welcome. We have our own dogs and know from experience how difficult it is to find the right type of accommodation. At Cornus House dog sheets and dog towels are available as well as a dog basket and feeding bowls. All four-legged friends can play to their heart’s content in our fenced-in dog play area. If they get on they can even make friends with our own three doggies!

This property was beautifully presented, and very comfortable. It was so good to have different areas around the house where we could sit outside if we wanted to do. The disappointing weather meant that we were not really able to take advantage of the numrous walks in the area, although we did do a couple of the shorter ones.

The owner, Jurgen, was very welcoming and helpful, and it was appreciated that he didn't constantly come to ask us what we had been doing each day. He was there if we needed him.

We would recommend visits to Limburg, Linz and Koblenz.

We really enjoyed our week in Haus Cornus, and have already recommended it to dog owning friends! The occasional doggy smells might be a bit off putting if you don't have your own dog, but they are part of the welcoming atmosphere of the house.

Wir haben einen Ort gesucht wo wir uns einfach nur ausruhen und entspannen können und mit unseren "Jungs", zwei Labrador Mix, viel wandern und erleben können.
Das Haus Cornus und diese wunderschöne Umgebung sind einfach nur genial dafür (auch ohne Hunde ;o)
Wunderschöne Wanderwege auf denen man Stundenlang Niemandem begegnet, als auch Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung (z.B. Koblenz)
Die Wohnung: komplett ausgestattet (für Mensch und Hund) und wohlfühlig
Die Vermieter: sehr nett, hilfsbereit und nicht aufdringlich... seeeehr angenehm, smile.
Es ist immer schwierig über Kataloge oder das Internet den Urlaub zu buchen ohne die Umgebung und die Unterkunft zu kennen... auf dieser Internetseite wird nicht übertrieben, es ist wie beschrieben!
Danke für einen wunderschönen Urlaub, wir drohen hiermit zu Wiederholungstätern zu werden :o)

Alles wie in der Beschreibung haben wir vorgefunden.Und wer die Ruhe liebt,verbunden mit einer schönen Aussicht,sollte sich diese Unterkunft nicht entgehen lassen,Ein kleines Problem hatten wir nur,weil kein Zaun zur Straßenseite an der einen Terasse war,mußten wir höllisch auf unseren Max aufpassen.Der interessiert sich für alles und jeden.Vom Haus aus kann man herrliche Wanderungen unternehmen.Mit Hund(en) einfach ideal.
Auch wunderbar essen kann man in der Nähe.
