The 'La Capitana' finca lies in the south of Tenerife between San Isidro and Granadilla at a height of about 390 metres. With more than 50,000 m2, the property could be called 'gigantic'. Guests who love natural surroundings and take pleasure from holidays in the countryside to escape everyday stress are most welcome here. The motto here is individual holidays, not mass tourism.

Notes to the rental rates

• The comfortable property 'Finca La Capitana' is priced for the periods below as follows: 7 January to 20 December - € 95 per day 21 December to 6 January - € 120 per day A cot and a highchair are available for children up to 2 years old. There is a charge of € 5 per day. Final cleaning is charged as one extra day’s rent. A broadband connection (W-LAN) for access to the Internet is available free of charge.
  
• The living space of the house amounts to around 98m2 and is divided into a sitting room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. In the 200m2 swimming hall there are the pool, a pool bar, a sauna, shower and WC. Most of the windows of the swimming hall can be removed or opened. In addition, there are two terraces of about 60m2 each. One of these terraces runs just about the whole width of the house and the swimming hall. The other terrace is at the side of the swimming hall. It is secluded from view and sheltered from the wind. There is a charcoal grill there too. You can park your car behind the house in the private parking bay.
  
• In the sitting room there are a comfortable sofa and other chairs. There is a television set with satellite connection for the receipt of many important international channels, and in addition, a stereo with radio and CD player. Should there be a chillier winter evening, the enclosed tiled fireplace creates pleasant warmth and provides a romantic mood. In the computer corner, you can connect your laptop to the Internet via a broadband LAN or W-LAN connection.
  

Accommodation and Facilities for the Finca La Capitana in Tenerife, Canary Islands

Complete outfit:

The dining area is just a few steps from the kitchen. There is a round glass dining table with three chairs. The kitchen is open to the sitting room. It is completely equipped: dishwasher, four-ring gas hob and gas oven, coffeemaker, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, microwave and a lot more. A washing machine and a tumble drier are installed in a separate utility area. The double bed in the bedroom has two single mattresses of 90 x 200 cm, giving an overall bed size of 180 x 200 cm. The large floor-to-ceiling wardrobe will take care of all of your clothes during a longer stay too. The bathroom is about 3 x 4 m. On the left-hand side there are large storage shelves and a built-in wash basin. More or less in the middle of the room is a big bath with hydro-massage that will provide for great bath-time fun, because there is room for two people... A corner shower, bidet and WC round-off the fittings. An ironing board, iron, bathrobes, hairdryer, and a safe also are provided.

The characteristic:

The illuminated pool is around 4 x 8 m and about 1.50 m deep and is equipped with a counter-stream function. Solar cells provide warm water, 25 degrees and more. In addition, a jacuzzi and a Finnish sauna with a wood stove are available to guests. There are riding stables on the other side of this large property, as the owner has an interest in horses. It is not a riding stable in the usual sense, and public riding is not available to everyone. However, if guests are interested in horse-riding, for a low fee, they may do so, or learn to ride under skilled instruction. The owner also offers sailing trips on his own yacht. You can discuss this on site with him. The 'La Capitana' house is a non-smoking property. You may, however, smoke outside the house, on the terraces or the big open area.

Journey times:

You can drive to Tenerife South airport in about 15 minutes. Despite the relative proximity to the airport, there is absolutely no aircraft noise. You’ll need about 15 to 20 minutes to get to the beaches at El Médano. If you want to take a plunge into the bustle of Playa de las Americas, you can be there in about 20 minutes. There are simple typical restaurants and bars as well as smaller supermarkets nearby. Larger supermarkets and many shops of all kinds, bakers, butchers, pharmacies, petrol stations etc. are found in the local town of “San Isidro”, about 6 km away. There are several very good restaurants offering Canarian cuisine, with meat and fish specialities.
