At the edge of Callao Salvaje a considerable residential area of the upper luxury class has developed during the last few years. The villa Diana has a living space of about 200m² which is spread over three levels. The architect has, in our opinion, done a great job and has incorporated the bright hillside situation very well within the plans to create a top class and unique villa. Maximum use has been made of the living space and open areas. On the ground floor you’ll find the sitting room, the kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms. On the upper level there is a further bedroom and a bathroom. On the lower level a separate apartment has been created with a sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. It would be ideal, for example, for two families wishing to stay near one another to occupy the same house, but in separate areas. The villa Diana would also be wonderful for a larger family that needs a Summer cottage with five bedrooms.

Notes to the rental rates

• Additional persons of 13 years and over are charged €20, from 2 to 12 years €10 and a child under 2 years old stays free. A cot and high-chair are provided. Final cleaning is charged as one extra day’s rent.

Similarly, the apartment in the lower area is also well appointed, with, for example, comfortable sofas in the sitting room and a television set with DVD. The kitchen has everything that you might need on holiday, even a washing machine. The bathroom is equipped with a bath, wash basin and WC. On the outside, there are almost countless sun terraces, all with garden furniture and/or sun loungers. Naturally, in such a luxurious house, you have a wonderful view of the Atlantic and the island opposite, La Gomera. The heated pool (4 x 11m approx.) is available for private use. Right by the pool is the pool bar (with fridge). The charcoal grill with its own seating area is sure to be a popular evening spot for guests in this house. Alongside the exterior shower is the entrance to another bathroom with shower, wash basin and WC.

The distances

Journey times: Restaurants, supermarkets and other shops are 2 to 3 minutes walk, while the South Airport is about a 35 minute drive away, and the North Airport, about 1½ hours. You can get to Playa de las Americas or Playa San Juan in about 10 minutes. Although the house could be separated owing to the two living areas, only the complete house is available for rent. The helpful couple who look after the house live in separate accommodation in the lower area, with separate access.
