The villa with a southern exposure is located on a saltwater canal in a quite cul de sac in southeast Cape Coral with direct gulf access (only 2 minutes to Caloosahatchee River, no lock, no bridges). We just have refurbished and furnished the house. There is a beautiful, electric heated pool in a tropical landscaped garden, so it becomes the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. There is also boat dock and we have a 23 feet Glastron Bowrider with 5.7l engine and 250 hp, which you can rent for 650 US $/week. Under Florida law you must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driving licence to run a boat (nothing else). The neighbouring house is also for rent Villa Fleur de Lis (Object Nr. 38261).

Cape Coral is located directly at the Gulf of Mexico just behind the islands of Sunibel and Captiva and is just a short drive away from Ft. Myers Airport. Cape Coral is known as 'waterfront wonderland' and 'Venice of America' because there are over 420 miles of waterways. This family friendly town with its 340 sunshine days is the ideal location for any water sport activities and for golf. There is a very good infrastructure with shopping-malls, Water Park, nature reserve and so on. Nearby you have the opportunity of sandy beaches, either lively like Ft. Myers Beach or quite as on Sunibel and Captiva Island

Additional information about rental rates

  • The price is based on 2 persons, any further person is 10 US $/ per day, one kid till age of 12 is free. Max. occupancy is 6 persons. The price includes pool service, gardener, air condition, water, bed linen, towels and English speaking introduction on arrival. Also included is electricity up to 30 US $ per week. Usage over this limit will be charged at $ 0.15 kw/h and will be deducted from the deposit ($ 500). Also included is 11 % tax for the state of Florida (6% VAT and 5% City tax). Final cleaning is 120 US $ and is payable directly to the property management in advance at arrival. 'Christmas and Eastern, tax is not included.
  • Terms and conditions: A down payment of 500 US $ is due with the booking confirmation and will be used at the same time as deposit. The total rental balance is payable 30 days prior to the arrival. Cancellation and refunds: Cancellation fees of 10 % of the whole amount will be charged up to 60 days before arrival, 59 - 30 days before arrival 30 % of the whole amount, 29 - 22 days 60 % and 21 days or less before arrival 80 % of the total amount. We recommend a trip cancellation insurance.

Infos about boat rentals: The rental of a boat in Florida is very easy. You need only a valid driver licence and you must be at least 21 years old. Villa Pineapple is the ideal place to dock a boat as you have to drive only 2 minutes to Calosahatchee River, you don't have to travel through endless canals, locks or bridges. We can offer you a glastron bow rider 23 feet 5.7l engine with 250 hp for only 650 US $ / week. Boat introduction fee is 80 US $. Extra deposit is US $ 500.

Climate: In summer the air temperature is between 30 - 35 C and the water temperature is 26 - 30 C. The rest of the year air temperature is 23 - 28 C and the water temperature is always above 20 C. There are between 330 - 350 sunshine days in a year. The changing of the seasons is hardly recognisable and flowers and trees keep their green leaves throughout the year. Because the water in the Gulf never falls below 20 C, there is swimming possible all year around.

Golf: Cape Coral is a paradise for golfers. there are four golf courses in the city of Cape Coral and more than 50 in the closer area.

Wir waren im Juni 2009 für 13 Tage in der Villa. Was soll ich sagen - es war ein super Aufenthalt mit allem Komfort den man sich in einen Ferienhaus vorstellt. Alles war super in Schuss und sauber. Unser Sohn (5 Jahre) hat den wunderbaren Pool in vollen Zügen genossen. Auch die sehr nette Betreuung vor Ort durch Anita und die Bootsvermietung hat super funktioniert- Auch hier noch mal ein herzliches Dankeschön an die beiden Personen. Wir können die Villa nur allen empfehlen.

Entspannter Golf- und Shoppingurlaub

Waren Anfang Dezember 2008 mit 2 Ehepaaren in der Villa. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig ausgestattet, hat eine tolle Aufteilung, ein großzügiges Pooldeck und einen wunderschönen Garten. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es erwartet einem genau das Ambiente wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend und die Nachbarn sind sehr freundlich.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Anita (Management) empfangen und mit vielen Informationen versorgt. Durch das hervoragend aufbereitete Hausbuch haben wir zum Golfen unsere Teetimes problemlos tel. buchen können. In ca. 30 Minuten Fahrzeit erreicht man über 50 Golfplätze.

Zum shoppen ist das Mirromar Outlet sehr zu empfehlen. Das Tanger Outlet fanden wir nicht so toll, da es recht klein ist und die Geschäfte - bis auf einige Ausnahmen - auch im Mirromar vorhanden sind. Als Badeurlaub sind die Beaches auf Sanibel toll. Weisser Sand und Muscheln ohne Ende. Zum Frühstücken ist das Perkins sehr empfehlenswert, Abends gibt es genug Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe, wobei hier das Steakhaus Del Prade sehr zu empfehlen ist. Außerdem gibt es noch einen guten Chinesen mit Buffet (Adresse steht im Hausbuch).

Alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen Urlaub in wunderbarer Umgebung. Wir werden sicher nochmals Wiederkommen

Wir haben in der Villa Pineapple den Kernteil unserer kleinen Florida-Rundreise verlebt und können diese nur weiterempfehlen. Ausstattung und Komfort suchen zu diesem Preis wirklich seines Gleichen. Selbst einen komplett verregneten Tag kann man so in den 4 Wänden gut verbringen, wenn schon alle Shopping-Malls abgegrast sind. :-) Ein Kompliment an die Vermieter für die hochwertige und geschmackvolle Einrichtung.
Vertragsgestaltung, deutschsprachiger Ansprechpartner vor Ort....alles bestens. Gern und jederzeit wieder!

ein wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen erholsamen Urlaub in der Villa. Auch unseren Kindern (9 und 12 Jahre) hat es sehr, sehr gut gefallen.
Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man sich nur denken kann.

Wir werden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen.

Vielen Dank nochmal an Anita, Brigitte und Klaus für die gute und herzliche Betreuung.

Ich bin auf Empfehlung von einem Freund mit Frau und Kind hier gelandet und wollte garantiert nix tun, mir keine Gedanken machen und trotzdem alle Möglichkeiten haben. Ich habe es sehr gut vorgefunden, Outlet-geshopped bis die Karte glühte , Beaches von Sanibel ausgiebig genutzt und mit dem gemieteten Motorboot die Umgebung erkundet Wir haben uns sehr wohl im Haus gefühlt , das weil praktisch ausgestattet und geflegt keine Wünsche offen ließ.
