This recently built residence is situated in the beautiful area of “Capo Vaticano” only a few foot steps away from 'Belvedere' a magical spot where you can admire the most spectacular views of the coastline, with the Strait of Messina right in front of you and the Aeolian Islands in the background. The apartments are set within a lovely well-kept garden with pool area and the position of the residence guarantees a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The facilities of the residence include: bar, swimming pool with Jacuzzi and deckchairs; playground for children; garden with oven, barbecue, tables and benches for pleasant evenings together, private parking place and laundry. The beautiful white sandy beach of Groticelle is about 1,5 km away and the guests have the possibility to use the shuttle service from the residence. The beach offers the opportunity to do windsurfing, sailing, go out by speed boat or pedal boat, snorkelling, and diving.

Very nice, small resort. We stayed at the Arcobaleno Resort in September 2009. We stayed in appartment 20 (2 persons), which is the best appartment because of a marvelous seaview (in good weather you can see the Stromboli by sunset) and a very large terrace. The inventory of the appartment is very good, everything is well kept (as new), the staff is very friendly and the beaches nearby are very nice. The location in Capo Vaticano is very good, within close reach of a small supermarket, gelateria and some bars. The only weaknesses were the obligation to wear a swim cap (can be bought at the bar for 1 euro) and the fact that the belvedere beach was closed. The resort is highly recommendable!

Perfect Holiday

Capo Vaticano was amazing. I went with my fiance and it was a perfect holiday. The apartments are clean and well decorated, and very quiet. We went in mid-June so there werent a lot of children around, which was nice. The pool was lovely, there was a jacuzzi and lots of space to sunbathe. Not far from the beach, however I wouldn't recommend the beach for anyone who isnt used to difficult paths - its very steep. However, there is a free shuttle bus to a different beach which is only a few minutes away - very clean and sparkly blue seas. The villa is only a 5 minute walk to some lovely pizzarias and trattorias which were really great and cheap too. The train station is a 30 minute walk where you can travel to Tropea, which is beautiful. Our favourite place was a restaurant 2 minutes from the villa which overlooked the sea with terraces and an amazing variety of ice cream - we had it everyday! Overall a fantastic holiday - we will be coming again definately this year or next year.
The only one minor drawback was the beach and in the pool you had to wear swimming hats which were provided. This is similar in most of southern italy because of the poor drainage systems.

Amazing place with amazing pools & best staff!

We were the first English to stay here, well used by Italians and Germans. Their new web site still doesn't show how lovely it is.
Immaculate, well furnished. Continually trying to improve and seemed genuinely interested in feedback. Sam, who staffs the reception and bar speaks excellent English and helped us plan days out, gave us local information and served a great beer!
Our only slight reservation was because all the apartments have tiled floors you can hear noisy neighbours if they crash around in heels!

Lange Rede kurzer Sinn, Wohnung war sehr sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, sehr freundliches Personal, vor allem Sam an der Bar war ein ganz toller Mitarbeiter, in jeder Hinsicht. Super saubere und wunderschöne Strände und Wasser. Die Anlage und der Pool, sehr gepflegt und ansprechend, klein aber fein. Ich kann alles nur weiter empfehlen und komme garantiert wieder. Arcobaleno-Team, macht weiter so.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche im Arcobaleno Resort.

Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, ebenso der Pool. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hervorzuheben war der Service: Shuttleservice zum privaten u. traumhaften Strand ( Bucht ), vorhandenes WLAN + Internetterminal. Wir kommen gerne wieder !
