Lovely villa located overlooking Lake Vinuela to the front and vine covered hills to the back. The upper floor can be self contained with large lounge, double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and fully equipped kitchen and utility room. Lower floor has two twin en-suite bedrooms offering privacy if you have older children, grandparents or another family.

Nearest Beach: beach at 15.0 Kilometres
Car: necessary
The villa is situated on the edge of the small Spanish village of Los Romanes. The rear of the villa overlooks vine covered hillsides. The front of the property has lake and mountain views. One of the best bar/restaurants in the area is 200 yards away with a small village shop a pleasant walk away and where you can get a taste of the real Spain. Ten minutes away, overlooking the lakeside are two excellent restaurants with superb barbecues! Fishing is available on the lake if you bring your rods. The seaside at Torre del Mar is 15 minutes away with excellent fish restaurants. There is good local walking in beautiful countryside. The historic city of Malaga and the lively resort of Nerja are within 30 minutes. Central for day trips to Ronda, Seville, Granada and Valencia by car or by excellent local coach company with knowledgeable guides.

  • Why not spend the winter months in Spain. Long term letting available between 1 September 2008 and 8th February 2009 for only £500 per calender month plus you pay actual electricty costs (as per Endesa bills) You'll need your woolies some of the time but there is lots of sunshine. You could also be in your bikini in January although you might need a bit more on in the evening! Email and we can talk about your requirements further.

Notes: The villa is arranged on two levels with outside stairs between levels. The garden is on a slope with sloping concrete paths to garden limits. Toddlers might need watching (as everywhere) but small children would love it. There are flat areas to three sides of the villa where children can play and some of that area is in shade throughout the day. Just outside the front garden wall is a flat area and little used wide driveway providing additional safe playing areas. The villa has covered terraces on two levels, lovely in the afternoons when the sun is hot, looking out over the hillside across your own private pool. The large roof terrace has panoramic views of mountains and lake.

Ski: Skiing is available at Granada, about 2 hours easy motorway drive. Make a day of it and stay overnight in Granada and see the wonderful Al Hambra while you are there.
