A marvellous view, from the terraces over the Tiber-valley to west over Lazio until Montefiascone and Toscana. On the opposite side of the Tiber-valley lain there is the world-famous sculptural garden of Bomarzo from the late Renaisance. The center of Giove is the impressing Palazzo around which grew the village witch small houses. Every village/town in the surroundings like Porchiano, Lugnano in Teverina, Mugnano, Amelia, Penna, Narni is worth to visit because of its own character, palazzo, church, architectural juwel and historical traces. In 45 km distance you will find the wonderful Bolsena lake, Orvieto is 50 km away, Terni, Viterbo, the nearest Province-capitals and shopping paradises are 40 km and 34 km away. Day trips to Toddy, spoleto, Perugia and Assisi, the wonderful 6 km long sand beach of Ansedonia at Thyrrenian Sea allow experiences in art, culture, history, nature und sun and sea.
