The Turtle House is an art house where you can spend peaceful days relaxing, gathering thoughts and the perfect for writing a book or being creative. If you like art and culture you have the possibility to rent an apartment or guest house away from crowded hotels and many people, but close to El Gouna´s many facilities, in a place that allows the imagination to run wild and creativity to flow. Durch einen Hinweis im neuesten Marco Polo Reiseführer für das Rote Meer und den Sinai unter Highlights der Region, haben wir die äußerst interessante Entdeckung gemacht. Von der wunderbaren Lagunenstadt El Gouna hatten wir bereits gehört, aber eine echte Überraschung war das Turtle House! Über Fewo war im November 2008 kurzfristig eine Buchung möglich und ein günstiger Flug war auch schnell gefunden. Wir trafen nette Leute und waren „privilegierte Bewohner“ dieses einzigartigen Kunstobjektes, im Gegensatz zu den vielen staunenden Bewunderern, die das Haus und seine angrenzenden Skulpturen fotografierten. Interessant waren auch die Atelierbesuche beim Künstler und Designer des Hauses. Wir haben unseren Freunden tolle Urlaubsimpressionen mitgebracht. Gern kommen wir wieder ins Turtle House.

Unser einzigartiger Urlaub im Turtle House

Wir haben unseren Urlaub im einzigartigen Turtle House sehr genossen. Die Räumlichkeiten sind individuell wie das gesamte Haus und schön eingerichtet. Turtle House war ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für unsere Strandtage, Golfen und Tauchen. Alle wichtigen Lebensmittel konnten wir in der unmittelbaren Umgebung zu Fuß einkaufen. Getränke und Wasserflaschen wurden uns auf Bestellung direkt ins Haus geliefert. Bei Fragen hatten wir immer einen Ansprechpartner im Haus, welcher uns bereitwillig und freundlich Auskunft gab.
Das Wetter war im Oktober angenehm warm und die Wassertemperatur lud noch ein zum baden. Eine Klimaanlage war nicht nötig, denn die Räume konnten gut gelüftet werden und die große Wüstenhitze war nicht vorhanden durch den ständig wehenden Wind. Ein Ausflug nach Hurghada hat uns gereicht um nie wieder das Bedürfnis zu haben, dort hin zu fahren. El Gouna ist sehr sicher und nervende Händler gibt es nicht. Auch als Frau konnte man ungestört bummeln gehen. Herzlichen Dank an das Turtle House Team für den schönen Urlaub!
