Good appartment near metro

Review Submitted: March 5, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
We stayed a week in this apartment and liked it very much. Basically it is an extension to the house situated in the garden,

There is absolutely no traffic noise in the apartment.

The metro is only a few minutes away and brings you in 10 -15 minutes directly to the city center. Supermarkets are real near on walking distance and there is a daily market.

The apartment is good equipped. Furthermore there are games, etc.

There is hot water all day. The beds for us were a bit hard so we needed to get accustomed to that.

There is a heating schedule but that can easily be changed.

Last but not least: Martina is a good host!

The apartment is very convenient for taking the Metro to the center and tourist areas. Pots, pans, plates, etc. made it easy to cook from scratch or reheat food from the nearby pizzerias/ tavola calda/kebab places (all good) that were indicated in a map on the wall. The cupboards contained some miscellaneous provisions (salt, sugar, pepper, tea, coffee, oil, balsamic vinegar, pasta, rice) which was convenient. There were also tourist brochures, board games, ironing board, etc. The place was clean upon our arrival and we did the cleaning for the rest of our one-month stay, using cleaning supplies in the house. Linens and towels were not hotel-grade but were clean. Hot water was plentiful. Shower stall is the typical European size. The place was reasonable for us (2 people), but the 2nd bedroom is definitely much smaller than the main one. Owners were responsive to our requests if anything was missing or required attention. If they were not in, we just left a note. The winter weather was humid and cold during our visit, and this affected indoor conditions as well. The heating turns on for a few hours in the morning and in the evening, and the timing can be changed upon request. There is a thermostat inside the apartment. We did not use the terrace, but it certainly looks like a wonderful place to hang out in summer. Regardless of the weather, we had a great stay. Rome is always full of interesting things to do, see and eat!

We have been to this place on 10.08.(4 adult)
Martina was very kind and instructive.
Nights here are immensely silent.
The apartment fits only 2 adult! One of the room is good enough but the another room is for 2 children only.
Appliances:fridge,mw oven,gas stove.Enormus entering door :-)
Heater was turned off but we didn't need it due to the good weather. There is a small garden with flaire furns behind the ap.
The apartment located in 20minutes to the City centre with metro(4Eu/dayticket/person)
Triscont supermarket,marketplace,coffe-shop is nearby the ap.
Rome was wonderful also was the weather.
We liked beeing here.

Ruhiger Rückzugsort in lebhafter Großstadt

Review Submitted: September 30, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009

Review Submitted: September 25, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
