Photos and Description of this Cape Coral holiday villa

The house with a southern exposure is located on a saltwater canal in southwest Cape Coral. We just have furnished it newly. Here some details: The house has 3 bedrooms (2 double with king size beds and 1 twin), 2 bathrooms, a bigger than average heated pool with Jacuzzi and a large Lanai. In the reception room is a large 62' HDTV-Screen (over 200 channels) with a video and DVD player. There is also a stereo with radio and CD. In one of the drawers you will find a selection of CDs, videos and DVDs for you and the kids. The garage is for 2 cars and there is also a laundry room. In every bedroom are also a television and a radio alarm clock with integrated CD player. Next to the kitchen are the dining area and the open-log-fire where you can relax with a nice glass of wine during the 'chillier' evenings in Florida. More Information and pictures are available. There is a huge BBQ-Grill on the Lanai.

Cape Coral is at the Gulf of Mexico and can be reached in 30 minutes from Ft. Myers Airport. The town is also known as 'Waterfront Wonderland' and the 'Venice of America', because there are over 375 miles of waterways. This family friendly town, with its 340 sunshine days a year, is the Eldorado for watersports and golfers. With a population of nearly 160.000 Cape Coral has a very good infrastucture with lots of shopping centers, parks etc. Nearby you have the beaches of Ft. Myers Sanibel, Captiva and so on. These are in easy reach by car or boat. Other towns and their attractions are also within easy reach by car. The house is located in the southwest part of Cape Coral. It is just of Gleason Pkwy and located on a saltwater canal near the main canal that leads down to the boat lock.

Additional information about rental rates

  • No hidden costs!!! The price is based on 2 persons, any further person is $ 38 per week ($ 6 per extra day). Max. occupancy is 6 persons. The price includes pool service, gardener, air condition, water, bed linen, Towels and English speaking introduction on arrival. Also included is electricity (please look after closed doors etc.). Also inclusive are 11% tax for the state of Florida (6% VAT and 5% tax for the city of Cape Coral). Final cleaning is $ 175 and payable with the rent in advance. Deposit is $ 600 and the minimum rental period is 7 days.
  • Terms and conditions: A payment of 25% of the lump sum is due with the booking confirmation, the balance including deposit and final cleaning is payable 30 days prior to the day of arrival. If the day of arrival is closer than 30 days from the day of booking, the amount is due in full immediately. Cancellations and refunds: Cancellation fees of 10% of the whole amount will be charged up to 45 days before arrival, 44 -30 days before arrival 30% of the whole amount, 29-22 days before arrival 60% of the total amount and 21 days or less before arrival 80% of the total amount. All moneys paid will be deducted by the above mentioned fees and the balance will be transferred back to you via wire or cheque. Money owed is payable immediately. A receipt will be send to you. Therefore we recommend a travel insurance.
  • For bookings for a period of at least 4 weeks a discount of 5% will be granted, for bookings for a period of 3 month or more a discount of 10% will be granted.

Notes: There is a 57' HDTV-Screen in the living room, also there is a stereo with CD and radio and a video/DVD player. In every bedroom there is a television and a radio alarm clock with integrated CD player. The pool size is 6 x 12 yards. We also have City Water, and Filter in the Fridge for excellent water and ice quality, not like others a dwell. where the water 'smell's'.

Boat rental: It's very easy to rent a boat, you just need a valid driving license and you must be over 25 years of age. No special boat license is necessary! The location of the Villa is ideal for Boat trips into the Gulf. After a short 30 minute journey in the main canal, along the mangroves, you will reach the lock (that is where the bar/restaurant RummRunners is located; the ideal place to dock the boat and have some drinks or dinner), that leads you into the Caloosahatchee River e.g. the Gulf of Mexico. There are some boat rentals and they will be at hand, if you would like to rent a boat. For newcomers to the boating world we recommend a ponton boat, that will set you back around $550 a week. A Glastron 27' with space for up to 11 persons will set you back at around $1000 a week.

Climate: In summer the air temperature is between 30-35 C and the water temperature 26-30 C. The rest of the year air temperature is 23-28 C and the water temperature always above 20 C; sunshine days are between 330-350 a year. The changing of the seasons is hardly recognisable and flowers and trees keep their green leaves throughout the year. Because the water in the gulf never falls below 20 C there is swimming all year around.

Cape Coral is a Paradies for Golfer. There are 5 Golf places in town and around 50 near by. A map with the closest 120 Golf places is in the house. There are over 1200 Golf places in Florida.

Die Beschreibung des Objektes (in absolut gepflegten und guten Zustand) entspricht den Tatsachen - ein Ort, um sich wohl fuehlen zu koennen. Wir waren dort mit unseren Kids (23,24und 26) und hatten sehr viel Spass. Die Betreuung durch den Hausherrn war vorbildlich und wir haben nichts vermisst - eben wie zu Hause.

wir waren erstmals in Florida und fewo führte uns zu Ihnen. Ihr Haus war grandios. Sehr gepflegt und gemütlich. Man konnte so richtig "chillen" und den Pool genießen. Zudem muß erwähnt werden, dass Ihr super nette Vermieter seid, die auch nach dem Urlaub durch liebevolle e-mails Wünsche sendet und einen nicht vergisst.
