Our beautiful beach house ‘Beau Site’ is as good as its word. It stands on a dune in the shade of ancient pine trees, just 70 metres away from the sea. From the gallery there’s a wonderful view through the trees to the Baltic Sea. In the summer you can take your breakfast on the big wooden terrace and listen to the sound of the sea and bird song. In the colder winter months this house is a place of warmth and comfort with sauna, whirlpool, under-floor heating and a fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms and a lovely living room all add to the luxury of this 5 star house. Leave every-day stresses behind and spend a few days of relaxation here. You’re very welcome!

“Beau Site”, our beach house, is in the beach park Baabe, on the edge of the biosphere reserve at Moenchgut. The small seaside resort of Baabe is ten minutes walk away, or you can use the bathers’ railway which has stops at many places throughout the beach park. The resort offers a rich variety of health and leisure activities as well as a long street along the beach, crowded with shops, restaurants and cafes. You will see the “Racing Roland”, Rügen famous narrow gauge railway. A trip is not to be missed. Get on your bike and explore the beautiful countryside around Rugen, with incomparable coastline and rural landscapes. The white sandy beach is right outside your front door and goes for kilometers, sloping gently, a paradise for children and sun worshippers. From here you can enjoy, in clear weather, the view of Rugen’s chalk cliffs.

Wir haben drei Wochen in dem Häuschen gewohnt und hätten uns auch noch länger pudelwohl gefühlt. Es ist aus unserer Sicht alles vorhanden und gefallen hat uns die wohnliche Gestaltung, z. B. mit 12 sehr hübschen Bildern. Unter den vielen Häuschen dort hat uns die Lage dieses am besten gefallen. Auch, weil es auf einer Anhöhe steht. Die vereinzelten Laubbäume hatten noch kein Laub und so konnten wir aus der oberen Etage sogar vorbeifahrende Schiffe beobachten. Schneller Strandzugang, am Ende der Straße, deshalb keine Belästigung durch Autos, Entsorgungsstelle gegenüber - einfach alles günstig. Sauna haben wir nicht benutzt, aber der Whirlpool hat uns Spaß gemacht.
Hinweis: das wunderschöne Bild im Treppenaufgang ist durch einen ungeeigneten Haken gefährdet. Die Kindertreppensicherung verhindert zuverlässig das Abstürzen von kleinen Kindern. Im geöffneten Zustand ist sie für Erwachsene eine Fußangel. Besonders, wenn Nachts jemand die unten gelegene Toilette anstrebt. Man kann sich aber darauf einstellen.
Das Haus entspricht den Angaben im Inserat bezüglich Lage und Ausstattung. Es machte einen sauberen, gepflegten Eindruck. In der Freizeit haben wir Wanderungen am Strand und in der Landschaft des Inselsüdens gemacht, Großsteingräber und Museen besichtigt, waren im Oceanum in Stralsund und sind natürlich auch mit dem rasenden Roland gefahren.
Wir können das Domizil bedenkenlos weiter empfehlen.

Erholung pur in Baabe

Wir haben gerade im Januar 2009 eine wunderschöne Woche im "Beau Site" verbracht. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, nur die Sauna ist etwas klein, da kann sich nur eine Person hinlegen. Bei der Nutzung durch zwei Personen sollte eine nicht viel größer als 1,60 m sein, da die Sauna unter der Treppe ist und dadurch in einer Ecke nur eine eingeschränkte Höhe hat. Wir haben abends gerne am Kamin verbracht, das war Erholung pur.
Der Blick zum Wasser ist durch die Bäume sehr eingeschränkt und im Sommer sicher nicht vorhanden, aber der Strand ist sehr nah. Da das haus am Ende der Anlage liegt, ist es sehr ruhig und es stehen auch nicht viele Häuser drumherum.
In der Küche ist wirklich alles vorhanden und auch Geschirr und Besteck in ausreichender Menge. Insgesamt kann ich das Haus nur weiterempfehlen.
