Very beautifully situated, two bedroom apartment and studio in the small village La Asomada. From the private, with wooden furniture equipped terrace you will have stunning views over Arrecife, Puerto del Carmen and Puerto Calero to the neighbour island Fuerteventura. Enjoy the silence and the wind-protected situation while you hold your Lanzarote red wine in the hands listening to chillout music and gazing on the lights in the evening and the glittering ocean. Whether starlights the bath, gazing from the bed on the Atlantic Ocean or the heated saltwater-pool - here you will find a good mixture of recuperation and luxury in private atmosphere. La Asomada is a small, original place: a little church and a supermarket. Also we can provide a bun service every morning. From Asomada (only two minutes to walk) you will have a very good, 7 days the week existing hourly bus connection to Tias and Puerto del Carmen.

Lying in the upper part of La Asomada, you will find yourself at about 350 mtrs above the sea level. The village is situated in the island centre; about 7 kms away from the coastline. The distance to the next possibility for doing big shoppings is less than 6 kms and towards Puerto del Carmen where you will find lovely sand beaches is also roughly 6 kms. The airport is reached within 10 mins; but you will never have noise from there. Directly from your apartment you can start nice trips on foot as well: the well known wine-growing area La Geria is just behind the hill. Once you reach the hills top you will be astonished about the very impressive view towards the national park of the Vulcanic mountain Timanfaya.

Shopping Service: You will arrive on a sunday or late in the evening ? No problem. We will be pleased to do the shopping for you if you let us know in advance your wishes. The fridge will be filled the minute you arrive. Bills and add. 15,00 Euros for the service.

Golf: The new golf course situated just above Puerto del Carmen has been opened in 2008 and only 10 min. away from the apartment. The Costa Teguise Golf course within a reach of 20 min.

Having visited the Canaries to enjoy the scenery and the walking many times over the years, I was looking for somewhere to stay which was away from mainstream tourism.This property was exactly what I was loking for and our time there exceeded all expectations.
The owners have paid attention to every detail. The apartment feels luxurious as soon as you enter it and is spotlessly clean. The views from the terrace are stunning with a feeling of privacy also. Whist the owners live also on the property, this should not put you off. They are completely considerate, and only try to ensure your stay is comfortable, offering practical help and tips when you ask.
Hiring the car that is offered at the property is recommended to see the island.Take your walking boots!
Suzanne and Jens advised on where the best places were to shop for food and wine, so we ate at home on most nights, the kitchen being very well equiped.
I would recommend this property to anyone wanting more than the usual package tourism experience of the Canaries. The owners make you feel welcome right from the first contact you make when booking. When I arrived I knew at once we had found somewhere special.
You are away from tourism, so the ability to speak a little spanish is helpful.

Much more than just good accomodation...

Well, what else can I do but continue the 5 out of 5 rating for Susanne and her accomodation! Even though we were unlucky with our dates and therefore were not able to stay in these beautiful accomodations, we did get to enjoy Susanne's helpfulness and resourcefulness 100%. She found us a studio not far from her accomodation in La Asomada, which was every bit as private and comfortable as her own. She also helped us get a great deal on a rental car (convertible, this was a holiday, after all!). We followed all her tips and advice, including the one on what to do to ensure you did not have to wait long in line at the airport to get your rental car, and all of her tips were spot on! We also got a tour of her own accomodation (I guess to rub it in where we COULD HAVE stayed if we had reserved earlier! ha ha!) and the photos certainly do it justice. We recommend this to anyone, who is looking to be away from the "Blackpool-in-the-sun"-type of towns, in a quiet and private atmosphere, child-friendly, yet close enough to enjoy the hustle and bustle of tourist shops and restaurants when you feel like a bit of activity.

Should really keep this a secret but...

We had a delightful week in La Asomada. The apartment is everything it says it will be and more. Comfort, design and excellent attention to detail with no fuss.
Suzanne and Jens are those rare hosts who are available to respond appropriately to any query or need whilst absent enough to ensure privacy.
When we arrived, their efficient delivery of us within minutes to the tranquil apartment, their unobtrusive provision of refreshments and thoughtful information regarding local suppliers made our transition to holiday smooth, swift and effortless.
We spent a magical first evening eating tapas at the local bar on their recommendation, before subsequently venturing further afield in the faithful Twingo.
Walking and exploring in Lanzerote is a joy and the apartment provides a perfect retreat to return to or to enjoy all day on those occasions when one doesn't want to do anything except soak up the sun, dip in the pool and have a barbecue later on.
The only drawbacks are absolutely no sign of any other tourists, no sprawling development and no noise.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Wir haben vom 10.02-19.02.08 in diesem tollen Apartement gewohnt.Es war für uns der absolute Traum.So hatten wir uns unseren Urlaub vorgestellt.Viel Ruhe,schöne Lage mit Blick auf das Meer.Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet,es mangelte an nichts.Die Terasse hat sehr schöne Holzmöbel,wir haben es genossen,jeden Morgen auf der Terasse zu frühstücken.Wir wurden sehr lieb umsorgt und betreut,es blieben keine Wünsche offen.Man braucht ein Auto zum Einkaufen und um in den guten einheimischen Lokalen zu Essen.
Leider war das Wetter am Anfang nicht so gut,so das wir den Pool mit Meerwasser erst die letzten Tage nutzen konnten.Alles im Allem werden wir bestimmt wieder dort Urlaub machen und freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal

wir haben in Eurem Apartment 2 wunderschöne Wochen verbracht. Das Apartment ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts und hat genau unsere Erwartungen getroffen. Die Terasse und der Pool waren ebenfalls super. Wir konnten bei dem wunderbaren Weitblick herrlich entspannen. Danke nochmal, das Ihr Euch so gekümmert habt... um das reservieren des Mietautos...um den Einkauf in unserem Kühlschrank bei der Ankuft...um die Terassenabsprerrung zur Treppe wegen unserem Sohn...die vielen zur Verfügung gestellten Spielsachen und den Autositz...und, und, und.
Wir wünschen Euch weiterhin alles Gute und hoffentlich auf ein Wiedersehen
