Modern city villa. Markkleeberg lies in the south of Leipzig. It takes only few minutes over the freeway as well as by the suburban metro train to reach the city center of Leipzig. The house constructed in 1998 lies in the Leipzig Neussen district. It is only a few minutes to the Cospuden lake as well as the Markkleeberg lake.

A wonderful guest house of 2 floors was developed from a primitive cottage of the Russian style after a complete renovation. Ground Floor: 1 Living/Bedroom with sofa bed, dining room for up to 6 persons, cable TV, stereo, kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, electric kettle, toaster. Sufficient crockery is provided. Windows/doors lead to the terrace. Sufficient garden furniture is provided for the guests there. The house is ideally located under old trees. A modern wooden staircase leads to the first floor. The bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 guest couch is located there. 2 bedside tables as well as a bedroom closet. The bath with shower, WC and white bathroom furniture is located on the first floor. Both the bath as well as the living/bedroom can be reached from the hallway. In addition, there is a washing machine as well as a dryer behind the sliding door.

Markkleeberg with its many parks lies outside the gates of the city of Leipzig. It takes only few minutes over the freeway as well as by the suburban metro train to reach the city center of Leipzig. A visit of the historical city of Leipzig is always worthwhile. A summary of the popular tourist attractions: Theatre, Gewandhaus, Church of St. Nicholas, St. Thomas's Church, Auerbach's Keller, New Trade Fair, Stadium, Central Rail Station with modern shopping arcade and over 100 individual shops, Battle of the Nations monument, numerous cabarets, little theatre etc. The Leipzig city center is not very big. From the central rail station you can comfortably explore the city center by foot. Markkleeberg is located between the Cospuden lake as well as the Markkleeberg lake with its newly constructed white water regatta. Numerous sports activities like sailing, diving, bicycling, golf, tennis, riding etc. are offered here. Day excursions to Dresden, Meissen, Berlin, Czechia etc. are offered.
