Exclusive two-storey Provencal villa with all comforts in enhanced location with panoramic view of the wonderful valley of ‘La Cèze’. This recently built villa (1997) totalling 180 m² (of which 120 m2 is the ground plan) lies within the ‘Samuège’ villa quarter on the edge of the village of Goudargues. A very peaceful, safe area, far removed from the hustle-bustle, but still within 2-3 minutes (car) of all the restaurants and shops and the weekly market. The bright, generous living room (48 m² in all) with fireplace has the atmosphere of southern Europe. The kitchen with access to the covered outer terrace (which is the main room in Provence) is a dream. There are 2 large bedrooms with a bathroom each (WC and shower), garage, utility room, washroom. The atmosphere is enhanced by the carefully executed architecture with bay windows and Mediterranean colors. The carefully managed garden (700 m²) has plenty of space to relax and unwind.

Surrounded by grapes, olive trees and the wild Carrigue forest in the Cèze valley lies the tiny village of Goudargues. The village of only 800 inhabitants is lively the whole year through. From early morning bakers entice customers with the scent of freshly-baked baguettes, later you’ll meet locals and holiday-makers shopping at the grocer’s shops or at the weekly market. The gorgeous cafés under the plane trees along the riverside will draw you in to drink a pastis, and before long it’s time for the midday menu with the obligatory cheese platter for dessert. Discover the public laundry house and watch women, even today, rinsing out their daily laundry in the clear water of the fountain. Or get to know the southern landscape of Provence on foot, by walking in the romantically natural surroundings, beside shady trees along the Cèze or through the Carrigue shrubs, alive with the fresh scent of lavender.

In Bagnols sur Cèze there are larger shops and supermarkets.

Leisure activities in the region: Bathing and swimming along the Cèze at the Sautadet falls or on the Ardèche. Tennis courts in Goudargues. Various golf sites in the area. But the nearby small town of Uzès is a good place to stop on the way, as is the Pont du Gard, a 2000-year-old roman aqueduct and one of the most visited sights in France. In the local area there are lots of interesting places to see, like the enchanting mediaeval villages of Cornillon, Montclus, Barjac, Lussan and Salazac. Just nearby lies La Roque sur Cèze, one of the most beautiful villages in France, enthroned on top of a cliff.

Wir waren von dem Haus und der Umgebung ohne Einschränkungen positiv überrascht. Jeden Nachmittag sind wir nach wunderschönen Wanderungen oder sonstigen Ausflügen gerne in Ihr Haus zurückgekehrt. Alles war vorhanden - sogar der Begrüßungswein -. Die Tagesausflüge, die wir geplant hatten, haben wir zugunsten der Erholung gestrichen. Es war wunderschön!

Können wir nur weiterempfehlen!!

Wir haben eine fantastische Woche in der Villa "La Tonnelle" verbracht und können sie nur wärmstens empfehlen! Ein tolles Haus, eine super Küche, viel Platz und ein herrlicher Ausblick. Beide Schlafzimmer sind gekoppelt mit einem eigenen Bad! Die meiste Zeit verbringt man auf der überdachten, sehr geräumigen Terasse. Alles wie beschrieben! Vor allem Kanuten haben hier eine Unterkunft in guter Lage, die Ceze ist am Ort und die Ardeche, in der man super Fahrten machen kann, ist mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Wer allerdings doch lieber ans Mittelmeer will, muss mit einiger Fahrzeit im Auto rechnen.

Wir waren eine Woche dort und der traurigste Moment war der, als wir wieder abreisen mussten. Das Ferienhaus ist wunderbar schön gelegen und bot für jeden das richtige: für unsere Tochter viel Spielzeug und Garten, für meine 73- und 80-jährigen Eltern viel Entspannung und Ruhe, ebenso für meine schwangere Frau. Für mich als Sportler wunderbare Joggingerlebnisse in den Morgenstunden; daneben ist Goudargues ein traumhaftes Städtchen mit schönem Wochenmarkt am Mittwoch, vielen Ausflugszielen in allen Entfernungskategorien und viel französischem Flair. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und wir fühlten uns schon nach fünf Minuten zu Hause. Ich hoffe, dass wir nochmals irgendwann die Gelegenheit haben werden, in der Villa La Tonelle zu verweilen.

Traumhaftes Haus in herrlicher Lage

Dieses Ferienhaus ist einfach perfekt und neu mit allem ausgestattet was man so brauchen kann. Es fehlt an wirklich nichts und Erklärungen gibt der Vermieter für alle Fälle bereits vorher.
Zusätzlich ist das Ferienhaus individuell und liebevoll gestaltet und eingerichtet, so dass wir uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Die Aussicht in die Landschaft ist grandios und der Standort für viele Ausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung bestens geeignet. Verzaubert hat uns aber insbesondere der individuelle Charme von Haus und Garten, wo sich insbesondere die Kinder sehr wohl gefühlt haben.

Erleben Sie dies einfach selbst. Wir haben schon 20 Jahre Ferienhäuser und -wohnungen gemietet und fast immer wenigstens Kleinigkeiten gefunden die etwas komisch waren (knarrende Balken, schmale oder unbequeme Betten, zu wenig Geschirr, Spinnenplage und so weiter).
Dies war das erste Ferienhaus, wo wir dem Vermieter wirklich keinen einzigen Verbesserungsvorschlag zukommen lassen können. Wir fühlten uns wie im Luxus pur!!!

Wir wünschen dem Vermieter selber und allen künftigen Mietern weiterhin genauso schöne und erholsame Aufenthalte wie wir einen erleben konnten.

Ein schöner Herbst

Wir haben hier wunderbare Herbsttage erlebt. Die Umgebung mit den Weinfeldern, Avignon und nicht zuletzt die gut erreichbare Küste sorgten für einen entspannten Urlaub.
Das Haus ist vorzüglich ausgestattet - nichts fehlt. Sogar die Begrüßungsflasche war liebevoll vorbereitet.
Hier wird ein Urlaub zur Erholung.

Owner's Response: besser kann es für uns nicht sein, man sieht, dass neben unserem eigenen Ferienurlaub auch die meisten unserer Gäste mit Ihrem Urlaub in La Tonnelle vollstens zufrieden sind und zudem einen entspannten & erholsamen Urlaub geniessen konnten. Man lässt sich schon gerne anstecken von dem südländischen Flair & Schönheit der Provence. Vielen Dank für diese netten Worte!
