The 200 year old fisherman’s cottage was extensively renovated in 2006. The interior includes lots of careful decor creating a pleasant, stylish atmosphere to enchant you. The wonderful holiday home called “Gull’s Nest” was rebuilt in 2006. Each apartment has 2 separate bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. So they can accommodate up to 6 persons. Both apartments have a balcony or terrace with a wide view of the Bodden broads on one side and of the Zicker Mountains on the other side.

Our holiday homes, ‘Old Fisherman’s Cottage’ and ‘Gull’s Nest’ are in the middle of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in the picturesque thatched roof village of Groß Zicker on the Mönchgut peninsula of Rügen. Groß Zicker is situated well away from spa-town traffic so it guarantees peaceful holidays. Favourite outings are to Baltic resorts Binz and Sellin with their impressive piers and splendid spa architecture, and they’re easy to get to. Food connoisseurs love the food here too because there’s lots of variety in Rügen restaurants, not only regional fish specialities but also international cuisine.
