Holiday home Manthena lies not far from the sea on a very quietly located property, in Ermioni-Petrothallasa. The house is fully fitted, has a large garden with several superb terraces to relax on. Just a few minutes from the village Ermioni with it's famous market at thursday. And also near Porto Heli, a popular holiday resort throughout the year. The lovely village centre offers a wide variety of shops, tavernas, restaurants, banks, cinema & newspaper kiosks. From here it is easy to make excursions by boat to Hydra, Spetses, Poros or Monemvassia or by bus or car to Epidavros, Nafplion & Mycenae.

Schön, ruhig, abgelegen, aber weit vom Meer!

Das Haus liegt wunderbar abgelegen; auch wenn die nächsten Nachbarn nur Luftlinie ca. 100 entfernt sind, hat man Privatsphäre, kann auch ohne Einblick anderer draussen duschen etc.
Ausblick herrlich aufs Meer und die Landschaft; nachts am besten auf die Wasserzisterne legen und Sterne anschauen.
Haus ist gut aber schlicht eingerichtet, etwas zusammengewürfelt vielleicht. Innerhalb des Hauses recht hellhörig, man muss sich schon gut kennen, falls man nicht als Familie hinreist.
Für uns einziger, aber beträchtlicher Nachteil war der Weg von und zum Meer:
Anders als angegeben, beträgt die Distanz nicht einige hundert Meter sondern ca. 3 km!!! Also nix mit Kinder mal kurz an den Strand schicken (wenn man welche hat)!
Und die Zufahrtsstrasse zu diesem Landschaftsteil (dafür kann der Vermieter nichts) ist steil und so voller Schlaglöcher, dass die Fahrt mit niedigen Autos eine schleichende Qual war (auch wenn der Vermieter auf eigene Kosten schließlich Arbeiter anheuerte, die die Straße etwas mit Steinen und Erde eingeebnet haben). Also: kein niedrigliegendes sportliches Auto möglich!
Trotz dieses Wermutstropfens für Ruhesuchende herrlich!
