This pretty holiday apartment, built in 2003, looks out to the sea and has a view of Porto Colom’s steep coastline. The roof terrace has a panoramic view of the city, the sea and the forest reserve. The sunny apartment lies within a quiet, well-kept residential complex containing 7 houses. The complex has a common garden area with a sunbathing lawn, a large integrated swimming pool (30 m× 60) and a separate children’s pool which measures 7 m in diameter. There are some loungers here set aside for you. The complex borders on a natural reserve, which means that no construction work is permitted and guarantees an unimpeded view of the sea. The sandy beach of Cala Marsal is 150 m away and the sandy cove of Cala Brafi, 200m. You will find a well-stocked supermarket, restaurants, bars, an internet café and hire shops for mopeds and bicycles all close by. The well tended apartment is furnished for 5 people plus 1-2 small children.

Porto Colom is appreciated by sailors as a natural mooring point and has preserved most of its original seaward-orientated buildings. This gives it its tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. The city centre, which dates back to the last century, is a second residence for many inhabitants of Felanitx, especially during the summer. The other half of the town has many leisure activities on offer. There is a large sandy beach and two smaller sandy coves. There is also a diving and surf school. The ship building industry should be mentioned, which is maintained mainly by small family businesses, where traditional ship building techniques have survived.

  • The prices are fixed for up to 5 persons. Small children using the baby bed sleep for free. The final cleaning charge is 70 €. There is another room cleaning during the week when the bed linen is changed. Bed linen, hand and dish towels are provided. Bring your own towels for the pool and the beach. There is a washing machine in the apartment.
  • Methods of payment: When you reserve you will receive a confirmation of booking, a map showing how to arrive, and information on car hire, either by email or by post. Upon receipt, you should transfer about 20% of the total rent to the account, details of which are provided. You pay the rest in cash when you collect the keys. When you arrive, you will usually be met by somebody speaking German or English at the appointed meeting point day or night, who will proceed to take you to your rented apartment, hand over the keys and introduce you to the house. This person is also authorized by the owner to collect the rest of the rent and will prepare a receipt for you. You can contact us directly during your stay.

  • The single beds can be pushed together, to create a double bed measuring 180 × 190. The beds are equipped with new, high-quality mattresses. There is sleeping room for 5 persons + baby. Two children’s travel beds, two high chairs and a bed barrier for children are available at no extra charge. Please let us know what your requirements are when booking. The bedspreads (fibre filling) can be removed in July and August and you can just use the sheets. Each bedroom has a clothes closet. The windows have shutters allowing you to isolate the room when it is particularly hot or to shade the interior. The electric radiators can be used in the winter. For the summer, there are electric fans on hand.

Notes: The well tended apartment is on the first floor, bright and receives plenty of sunlight. It lies just by the shared swimming pool. You reach the central living area by descending an open staircase. Downstairs you will find a fitted kitchen, an eating bar, a table for 6, comfortable sofas and a television. The terrace, which is set slightly forward, runs along the whole of the façade. There is another dining table here for eating outdoors and chairs for reading. A stone stairway leads up to the roof terrace. There are sun loungers and sunshades here. The three bedrooms are reached by walking through a hall. One of the bedrooms has a bathroom suite. All the furnishings are in excellent condition, most are made from pinewood - the kitchen units are lively and colourful. You will feel at home here as soon as you arrive.

Beaches in Porto Colom: Cala Marsal lies in the newer part of Porto Colom. This large sandy beach is easy to reach by foot, just 5 minutes from your apartment. It is ideal for children, boasts a restaurant and a beach bar, loungers, sunshades, showers, paddle boats and many other attractions. It is surrounded by small hotels. There is parking space right by the beach. Cala S’Arenal is located in the old quarter of Porto Colom. This beach is about 2 km from your apartment. It is mainly used by the locals and lies in a lovely location by the harbour entrance with a view of the whole of Porto Colom, set against the backdrop of the mountains. You can contemplate romantic sunsets from here. The beach bar, as elsewhere in Ibiza, is open until late in the evening. Cala Brafi is a small, sand beach set in natural surroundings which can only be reached by a cliff top path.

Other beaches nearby: Cala Murada: This is used mainly by the locals, as well as by German, Belgian and French tourists who stay in the nearby hotel. Your can park right by the beach. Es Domingos: A lovely sand beach, where the water runs deep and swept by large waves when the wind gets up. Cala Senau: This is characterised by a fine sandy beach surrounded by pine forests. Cala Serena; Cala Esmeralda, Cala Gran, Cala Egos, Cala Barca, Cala Mondrago and many others.

This accommodation is extremely clean, tidy and modern. 4 star. So long as you can manage 39 steps then you are on to a winner. It has a fantastic large balcony with lovely views of the sea, woodland, and the pool. Lovely to sit out in the evening. Loads of space. Up another narrow flight of stairs and you are on the very private rooftop terrace. Lovely views and very quiet and private. The layout inside was as described. All very modern and clean. Very roomy. It easily sleeps 6 adults, but could do with a 3rd fan as no air conditioning. Bedding and towels were all in vgc. Brilliant sized outdoor pool. Very clean. Could do with more sunbeds, but you could carry your own down if wanted. Quiet at night. Would definately reccommend. Beautiful, clean local coved beach at Cala Marsal. Not very much to see snorkelling. Only access to sea from beach (not rocks). Easy to walk to. Plenty of room, sunbeds and umbrellas for hire, lifeguard, beachbar. May need bus or car to reach further good beaches. Harbour within walking distance. Many restaurants, supermarkets nearby. Would like to have found some more local majorcan food to try really. Lots of english food. In general the property, grounds and pool were better than expected from looking at website. Ideal if you want a fairly quiet relaxed holiday with all the essentials within walking distance. Car not neccessary once arrived. Although we wanted to see more of the island so we did need one. We did take teenagers but it was quite a family area. Little loud music and no signs of wild night life here. Did not need to speak with owner once settled. Would gladly speak in English to potential renters.

- Preis/Leistung: perfekt

- Lage, Zustand, Größe, Zuschnitt/Raumaufteilung, Sauberkeit der FeWo: besser gehts kaum !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- Umgebung: Porto Colom und Cala Marsal sind ein echter Geheimtipp !!

- Wiederholungstäter: auf jeden Fall !!!! Kommen bald wieder !!!!!!

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir waren vom 28.6. bis 10.7.09 zu 5 Personen in dieser Wohnung.Haben eine sehr schöne und saubere Wohnung vorgefunden. Der Ausblick vom Balkon hat 5 Sterne mit Sternchen verdient.Die fehlende Klimaanlage macht gar nichts weil die Häuser sehr solide gebaut sind und immer ein angenehmes Lüftchen vom Meer weht.
Wohnungsübergabe am Anreisetag hat bestens geklappt.
Ein Tipp, Auto ist nicht für den ganzen Urlaub notwendig.
In der Nähe gibt es alles was man braucht.Einen größeren Supermarkt gibt es im Dorf.
Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tolle, ruhige Wohnung für jeden Geschmack

Wir haben mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern unseren Herbsturlaub vom 28.9. - 12.10. in dieser Fewo verbracht. Wir haben eine sehr saubere Wohnung in einer gepflegten Anlage vorgefunden. Die Wohnung liess für uns keine Wünsche offen. Sie ist kpl eingerichtet. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Sie ist sehr ruhig gelegen, aber in ca. 10 min Fussmasch kann man schon etwas Trubel von Portocolom erleben.Vom grossen Balkon hat man einen wunderbaren, unverbaubaren Blick auf das Meer. Von der grosszügige Dachterasse hat man einen schönen Rundumblick. Von der Wohnung waren es mit den Kinden an der Hand max. 5 min bis zum Strand des Cala Marsal. Sehr schöne Sandbucht. Gut sortierte Tagesversorgung im sauberen SPAR Markt auf dem Weg zum Strand (ab 8.30 Uhr frisch gebackene Baguettebrötchen!), guter EROSKI Markt 5 min mit dem Auto.
Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder mieten. Die Beschreibung war nicht übertrieben. Wir haben alles so vorgefunden.
