Our holiday flat La Terrazza has got a sleeping room with double bed and bed for children ( join further bed is possible), a living room with kitchenette and up to 2 beds, a bathroom with shower and a big terrace with rocking chair, sun chair etc. It is surrounded by typical mediterranean plants and flowers. The kitchen is well equipped with Sat-TV. Our house is in a nice position at 50m from the next bus stop.

The holiday flat La Terrazza is located within a 5-minute-walk from the centre of Barano d'Ischia, one of the 6 municipalities of the green island. Here you'll find all services, shops, restaurant, bars etc. The next bus stop of the efficient bus service is at 50m from the house ground and the buses take you everywhere on the island. The Maronti Beach is reachable within 5 minutes by bus. The famous Nitrodi spring in Barano is easy to reach. It is renowned to islanders and tourists who frequent the island for its therapeutic qualities. The water of this spring is classified as medium level mineral water and hypothermal. At the mouse of the spring there can be found a small thermal bath establishment which allows visitors to take advantage of the medicinal properties of this water, which favours and regulate diuresis, makes the skin healthy, pure, smooth and shiny.

Sparetime....: The coast of the Maronti is the main tourist and thermal attraction: a splendid natural bay that extends for approximately 3km and gradually dips into the sea which is sheltered by imposing hills. The fascination of the landscape is enriched by the dark cave openings: narrow and fascinating paths allow for people to immerse themselves in seascapes which can offer unforgettable emotions. Famous and unique in the world are the so called ‘fumaroles’: the beach in certain areas reaches very high temperatures with vapours escaping from the sand. In one of these caves you can find the oldest thermal spring of the island: 'Cava Scura'. The thermal springs of Ischia have been famous and used since olden times. Spend some relaxing hours in one of the famous thermal parks which are located all over the island.

Alle Angaben im Online-Inserat sind korrekt. Die Wohnung ist gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Die Terrasse ein kleines Paradies. Die Vermieterin hat uns eine perfekte Anreisebeschreibung geschickt und stand immer für alle Fragen zur Verfügung. Wir fühlten uns gut betreut und können die Wohnung jederzeit empfehlen.
Das Haus ist etwas zurückgesetzt, die Wohnung liegt auf der vom Straßenlärm abgewandten Seite, also ruhig. Bushaltestelle 50 m vom Haus. Eigenes Auto ist nicht nötig.

Wonderful days on Ischia

We spent wonderful 9 days on island. The appartment is very cosy and it is equipped with everything you need. Everything was clean and in a good shape. The owners are very pleasant and obliging.
The description of the appartment is precise.
Not far from appartment you can find a supermarket. The nearest beach is about 5 min from there (by car), but we were there just once, because the island is so wonderful, that we wanted to see as much as possible. I would recommend to visit one of the thermae. We were at Negombo and got a lot of pleasure. If you like walking, then it is worth to go to Epomeo (the top of island) with super view of the whole island. In my opinion the best beaches are S.Montano and S.Angelo. Also worth to visit the wild beach (but with restaraunt) Sorgeto with hot springs directly in the sea. Also interesting is a fortress Aragonese.
We were on island with our car, but probably it would be easier to use buses, because the streets are narrow and traffic is big. Also it is difficult to find a parking place (I mean free of charge).
But traffic sounds will not disturb you, so you can enjoy silence and peace by the appartment La Terrazza. Visit it and you will have unforgettable vacation.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super und gepflegt. Informationen durch die Vermieter über Bus, Fähre und anderes waren hervorragend. Aber auch sonst waren wir vollkommen zufrieden. Wir können la Terrazza auf jedenfall weiterempfehlen.
