Holiday Home in Tuscany, with pool, large garden and terrace

Imagine a small medieval Tuscan village at the top of a hill. It is surrounded by 700 olive trees, countless fruit trees and wooded hills. The houses interlock and are on different heights and are linked by tiny footpaths. On the ancient town wall which surrounds the town, wild capers grow. What has happened here is like a dream and offers peace and relaxation in a once in a lifetime situation. The Casa Ambra is a detached house which contains two holiday homes. In the months of July and August, both are let together for 8 guests. In the other months it is possible to rent the ground floor apartment whilst the other apartment is empty or occupied by the owner.

The house consists of 2 apartments, one on the ground floor and one on the upper floor of the house. Each apartment contains one double bedroom and one single bedroom with 2 beds. In the summer months only the whole house can be booked, but in the rest of the year the downstairs apartment can be booked for 4 persons.

Notes:

The house, restored to its original 15th century condition, is very comfortable and is wonderfully furnished with a mixture of antique and new. The kitchen includes coffee and expresso machines, and fridge with freezer shelf. Lovely wooden beams, terracotta and stone floors and walls are kept as originally made. In the living room an open fireplace and the lovely old plastered walls bring you the splendour of the Tuscan countryside.

Details

Just in front of the kitchen on the ground floor a door leads into the private garden. While dining under a pergola you’ll enjoy a fantastic view and fascinating sunsets evening after evening. In front of the entrance door there’s another small terrace where you can eat your breakfast in the morning sun. The large shared pool is shaped to remind you of a pond and includes a viewing platform integrated with furze bushes and cypresses in the beautiful landscape. Guests are also welcome to use the tennis courts with panoramic view, and on cooler days the sauna.
