The romantic Casa Nonna is located about 900 metres outsite of Balestrate. Surrounded by olive trees and lemon trees. Casa Nonna offers you a get-away-from-it-all holiday with the advantage of still only being 3 minutes away by car from the village Balestrate and to the beautiful beaches of Balestrate you need about 5 minutes by car. The property located inside 1250 square metres of private ground with a lots of space to chill out during the hot hours of the day as well as sun-worshippers can find plenty of spots to lie down. In the garden are different fruit trees and you are very welcome to eat the fruits from the trees. You can spend in Casa Nonna a nice holiday without any stress. Restaurants, bars, shops you will find all in Balestrate. The house is for summer or winter holiday.

Balestrate is situated in the north of Sicily, in the Gulf of Castellammare. 40 kilometres west of Palermo. It is just 15 minutes from Palermo International airport. The village is very central to visit all the famous places of Sicily - Palermo/Monreale 40 km, Trapani/Erice 45 km, Segesta 20 km, Cefalu 70 km - by car or train. Balestrate is situated directly on the ocean. Our holiday house is situated in beautiful surroundings on the outskirts of the town. You’ll get to know and learn to love the Mediterranean cheerfulness, the southern flair, the balmy evenings, the wonderful aroma and taste of traditional food and, of course, the spontaneous hospitality of the locals. The streets of Balestrate are, lined with restaurants, pizzeria, take away, bars, gift shops, supermarket pulsate with life day and night. The friendliness and openness of the locals, who are always willing to lend a helping hand, will make you feel at right at home.

How to reach Balestrate: Balestrate is very easy to find. From the airport Palermo you have to take the highway direction Trapani and after 23 kilometres is the exit Balestrate and from the airport Trapani you have to take the highway direction Palermo and after 40 kilometres is the exit Balestrate. I will send you a map how to find the house and my telephon number, together with the booking confirmation. But you can take also the train to go to Balestrate. Punta Raisi (airport Palermo) to Balestrate or from Trapani you have to take the bus to the railwaystation Trapani and there the train to Balestrate. We will pick up you from the railway station. We offer you also the transfer from and to the airport - the price for one way is Euro 35 (Palermo) and Euro 45 ( Trapani)
