Used as a film set by Belgian television, this cosy self-catering cottage is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, commanding breathtaking views from all angles; over the entire lake of Zahara-El Gastor and the surrounding mountains. Situated on the edge of the Grazalema Natural Park, in a secluded but not isolated position, this is the perfect retreat to relax and unwind - ideal, also, for a romantic holiday. This charming and traditional Andalusian-style cottage, with wooden beams on all ceilings, offers comfortable accommodation to a maximum of 4 people. It is tastefully furnished throughout and has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge, fully equipped kitchen/ dinner and very large terraces outside, where one can enjoy dining and contemplating the views either outside the cottage or by the private 8 x 4 metre filtered swimming pool. In the evening, from the picnic bench close to the cottage, guests can sip a glass of wine and watch the sun set behind the lake.

The cottage is situated in the Cadiz Mountains and is just 5 km from one of the famous 'Pueblos Blancos' or white-washed villages of Cadiz called El Gastor. It is close to picturesque villages such as Zahara de la Sierra and Grazalema, and only 25 km from the well-known town of Ronda. It is just 1 hour drive from Jerez de la Frontera, famous for its horses and sherry, and a 90 min drive from Seville, Cadiz and Malaga. It is conveniently located on the edge of the Grazalema Natural Park, an area which is ideal for nature lovers. Bird watchers will be able to spot Griffon vultures, eagle owls and many types of birds of prey. For those who enjoy walking, there is an extensive network of routes to follow in the Park itself.

Absolut ruhig mit toller Aussicht, Ausstattung einfach und hübsch, aber zweckmässig, Küche dürfte mehr Gebrauchsutensilien enthalten. Romantische Gartenlaube, schöner Pool mit guten Liegen und Schattenlaube. Badezimmer mit Dusche und separates WC mit Lavabo, beides zweckmässig. Badetücher und Pooltücher genügend vorhanden.Schlafzimmerbetten bequem, Doppelbett etwas schmal und kurz. Alle Fenster mit Mückengitter. Das Cottage und der Poolbereich werden hervorragend sauber gehalten und können in einwandfreiem Zustand bezogen werden. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für Grosseinkäufe liegen in grösserer Entfernung, nur per Auto machbar. Die Eigentümer sind sehr gastfreundlich und zuvorkommend. Für Urlauber ist es überhaupt nicht störend, dass sie unmittelbar nebenan wohnen. Unser Fazit; wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub und waren absolut zufrieden. Wir können dieses Domizil problemlos weiterempfehlen.
