This is a lovely, typical Budapest city apartment with high-ceilinged rooms in a big, classical tenement built in 1898. You can reach the first floor apartment via a bright inner courtyard through the lavish stairway and entrances typical for such tenements. The eat-in-kitchen lies to the right of the hall, the sauna, WC and bath lie to the left. Straight ahead is the large living room with a seating arrangement in the classical style and satellite TV (ASTRA). Two separate beds (a total of 6 sleeping-places) can be found in the bedroom. The fully equipped eat-in-kitchen with dishwasher and table with place for 6, as well as the bath with shower and washing machine and WC are recently renovated. Hence, one can have a good time after an adventurous day in Budapest and also wind up the day, e.g. with a sauna. So that you do not have too much luggage, we provide you with towels and bed linen!

Nearest Train: East railway station (Keleti Palyautvar) at 1 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Highway M1 coming from Vienna at 9 Kilometres

If you step out of the house, you are at the entrance of the second oldest market hall of Budapest, in which you can buy all that you need for life. You can also pay with a credit card in the supermarket in the market hall. The apartment, surrounded by large, old rental apartments, built at the end of the 18th century lies in an extremely favorable location in the city center. The Ring road (Jozsef Körut) on which the tramways 4 and 6 run connecting the Buda and Pest via the Margareten and Petöfi bridges is at a walking distance of 2 minutes. The Blaha Lujza Platz, from where you can board the Metro line 2 which passes below the Danube and also reach Line 1 and 3 is at a walking distance of seven minutes. You can reach the promenade of the Danube in fifteen minutes by foot and stroll along it on a lovely evening. You can buy groceries and drinks at CBA, a small supermarket on Ring road (50 m) which is open till late in the evening.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The rate includes all additional charges (bed linen, towels, administration, final cleaning). Families welcome! 75 euros for one night during Formula 1 and New Year's.
  • 30 euros are due for the cost of final cleaning for a stay of less than the minimum number of days indicated.
  • 30% of the estimated rent is due as advance payment with the acceptance of the renting period. 50% of the security deposit is retained in case of cancellation of the rent contract within two weeks before the start of the rental. The deposit is not refunded in case of a cancellation within one week before the start of the rental.

Angenehme Wohnung in Budapest

Wir haben 5 Tage im August/September in Budapest verbracht und waren begeistert von der Ausstattung der Fewo und auch der zentralen Lage. Mehrfach sind wir zu fuß von der Innenstadt zurückgelaufen. Man muss natürlich gut zu Fuß sein, aber das gehört zu einem Städtetripp dazu! Die Wohnung ist wirklich gut ausgestattet und der freundliche und persönliche Empfang der Schwägerin des Vermieters hat uns alles noch leichter gemacht. außerdem hat uns der Vermieter vorher ebenfalls sehr gut informiert. Wir sind nicht enttäuscht worden und haben die Wohnung wie beschrieben vorgefunden. Ideal war auch die Markthalle als Versorgungsmöglichkeit. Da wir mit dem Nachtzug angereist sind, waren wir schon am Vormittag da und durften schon in die Wohnung. Auch das spricht für die Freundlichkeit der vermieter-Familie.

Diese Wohnung können wir nur weiterempfehlen - vorallem für Familien mit Kleinkindern oder Selbstversorger:
Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet (Kühlschrank inkl. Gefrierfach, Geschirrspüler, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine bis zum Mixer....);
alles war sauber geputzt;
Räume zweckmässig angeordnet - sogar an so Kleinigkeiten wie Kleiderhaken im Bad und Handtuchtrockner ist gedacht.

Schwägerin der Vermieterin wohnt im selben Haus und nahm uns höflichst in Empfang; Vorkontakt mit Vermieterin klappte einwandfrei - freundlich, hilfsbereit, verlässlich etc....

Ansonst liegt Wohnung verkehrszentral und man kommt mit Straßenbahn und Metro sofort überall hin.

Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gefallen. Sie befindet sich verkehrsgünstig in Pest gelegen. Man erreicht schnell mit öffentlichen Nahverkehrsmitteln diverse Einkaufszentren, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants. Günstig ist die genau auf der anderen Straßenseite gelegene kleine Markthalle für tägliche Einkäufe. Die Wohnung ist groß und geräumig und verfügt über ein gut ausgestattete große Küche sowie eine Sauna. Die persönliche Betreuung durch die Vermieter ist besonders zu erwähnen.(Hilfe bei Taxibestellung, Problemen auf dem Flughafen usw.)
