Ca'della Vigna is a bright apartment with two rooms and it is over the 'Corte della Borsa' and a small inner courtyard. The apartment is surprising with its 9 windows that provide a bright, friendly atmosphere year-round. The Castello district, where the apartment is, has its own attractions: You will be staying in the middle of a residential quarter and you can take part in Venetian life, even though you are only a few steps from the great city of Venice. The apartment is on the 2nd and top floor and is preferably suitable for 2 adults. A family with up to 2 children can also be comfortable. It is divided into the entry area, an eat-in kitchen, a bathroom w/ shower, 1 bedroom with double bed and a living room with sleeper sofa. Ca' della Vigna is tastefully and practically furnished. The kitchen has a gas cooker, electric oven and refrigerator w/freezer.

Ca' della Vigna is in the historical centre of Serenissima and is thus the perfect starting point for all kinds of excursions: to the art history treasures as well as to cultural offerings in Venice. Ca' della Vigna is an inviting apartment in a quiet area, off the beaten track. In just minutes, you can reach the large art history showplace of Venice or the spots with important cultural events like the Biennale or the film festival. Ca' della Vigna is in Castello, one of the suburbs that has been able to avoid mass tourism, even though important places of interest like the Rialto bridge or S. Marco are only 15 min away by foot. It is a lively suburb, full of old 'trattorie' and 'bacari' that are very inviting for pleasant breaks and festive conversation.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The price range is between 100 Euro and 125 Euro/night, depending on season. A week is calculated with a price of 6 days. Price for longer stays upon request. The price includes bed linens and towels, final cleaning, use of all appliances, gas, electric and heating. Check-in is after 4:00pm and check-out has to be at 11:00am on the departure day. 30% down per bank transfer or post payment form upon booking. The down payment (excluding transfer charges) can be refunded if the reservation is cancelled at least 30 days before the start of the rental period. The remaining balance is to be paid upon arrival either in cash or per cheque (in this case we will add-on 12.50 Euro for bank charges). Unfortunately, we do not accept credit cards.

Surroundings: There are numerous famous Venice attractions and landmarks just a few hundred metres away from Ca’ della Vigna. The most famous highlight is perhaps the Basilica San Marco, a vast church which is one of the most famous sights associated with Venice, Piazza San Marco (San Mark’s Square), situated in the heart of the city and affectionately referred to by Napoleon as the 'finest drawing room in Europe', Palazzo Ducale (Doge's Palace), a simply breathtaking waterfront palace and a superb example of Gothic architecture. In the immediate surroundings of Ca’ della Vigna you will find the Campo S.S. Giovanni e Paolo. This square is full of many popular Venice attractions and used to be known as the Campo delle Maravege (marvels). It features an imposing sculpture - Monumento di Bartolomeo Colleoni - which stands in the square and was created by Verrocchio. Also nearby is the church of Santi Giovanni e Paolo, which was founded by the Dominicans in 1246.

Appartement très agréable, ensoleillé, bien décoré, confortable et accueillant, qui contient tout ce qu'il faut pour un séjour, même long. Le quartier est près du centre, mais à l'écart des circuits touristiques : il reste calme et authentique.
Les contacts avec le propriétaire ont été excellents, car c'est quelqu'un de très attentif à la qualité du séjour et à l'accueil.

Schöne Wohnung und perfekte Lage

Leider war bei unserer Ankunft durch einen heftigen Regen kein Strom in der Wohnung. Mit Strom ist die Wohnung allerdings perfekt. Die Lage ist wirklich gut, die Wohnung ist hübsch und für 4 Erwachsene oder 2 Erwachsene und 2 schon ein bisschen ältere Kinder super geeignet.

Sehr schön renovierte, liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung in einem Wohnviertel ohne Touristenströme. Mit allem ausgestattet,was der Städtereisende für die erste Versorgung braucht.Die Betten im Schlafzimmer sind sehr gut, das Futonbett im Wohnzimmer mehr etwas für Kinder und Jugendliche. Freundliche und informative Betreuung durch den Vermieter. Viele Tips für Einkauf, Ausflüge und Restaurants. Sehr sauber, auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!
