Romantic 18th century cottage in a garden, 5 minutes from Champagne vineyards

Le Clos de la Rose is an excellent place to visit the Champagne area. We are 5 minutes from the western vineyards (where are the most interesting discoveries still to make) and from here it is very pleasant to tour the whole area. We are only 1 hour from Reims and Epernay and everything in between are just vineyards! But we are also less than 1 hour from Paris, 30 minutes from Disneyland Paris, 45 minutes from the beautiful medieval town of Provins, etc. Our old and romantic 18th century French cottage stands alone, apart from the main house. It is a charming suite of about 50 sqm. The cottage is part of a larger 18th Century property with a big traditional house hidden in a garden with roses, birds and some very old trees. While keeping intact the spirit of the old times the cottage was restored and beautifully decorated with all modern facilities.

We discovered this delightful cottage on the internet and were certainly not disappointed. Firstly with the user friendly system of booking,method of payment of deposit, and prompt response to our enquiries. Upon arrival we were met by our charming hosts with a welcome tea and an immediate knowledge that our one week stay would be all that we had expected. The cottage is a five star rating with comforts, ambience, amenities, and attention to detail, second to none. We would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to our Australian friends.
