La Casina is a charming cottage with a large terrace and a small garden with a view of surrounding hills and the valley of the river Gottero. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a living-dining area, which access the terrace. A few minutes walking distance are all the shops, bars and restaurants, supermarkets, a pharmacy, dry cleaning and a public swimming pool and a sports field with two tennis courts. The area around Sesta Godano, Val di Vara, is marked by green, densely wooded hills and rivers and Gottero Vara. The Monte Gottero, the highest mountain (1,639 m), is ideal for mountain biking and hiking.

The 'Rivera di Levante east of Genoa is one of the finest pieces of Italian Rivera with densely wooded hills and mountains, deep coves and picturesque villages and towns by the sea. Sesta Godano, a quiet and natural market town in the inland, is located 17 km from Levanto on the Ligurian coast. Lively and pretty town by the sea like Levanto and Sestri Levante, Lerici, Porto Venere, etc. The Cinque Terre, one of the most famous and most beautiful tourist destinations for hikers, is a few minutes from Levanto train station. The Tuscan town of Lucca and Pisa, is an hour away, Florence is about an hour and a half away. In Sarzana a large famous antique market is held every August.

Ideal für entspannende Ferien

Wer nicht gerne inmitten von Touristenströmen seinen Urlaub verbringen möchte, der ist hier genau richtig. Sesta Godana liegt unweit von Highlife der Küste und bietet für alle die es zwischendurch gerne mal idyllisch und ruhig haben wollen ein ideales Fereiendomizil. Alle Highlight der Umgebung sind bequem mit dem Auto zu erreichen.
Wer gerne im Mittelmeer baden möchte, dem empfehlen wir den "Strand der Stille" in Sestri Levante (über die autostrada ca. 30 Minuten).
Das Haus ist stilvoll eingerichtet. Wer keinen unnötigen Schnickschnack im Urlaub braucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Hinzu kommt, dass die Vermieter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit sind.
Wir haben hier einen wirklich schönen Urlaub verbracht und kommen bestimmt wieder :-)

Wir haben uns in La Casina sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt, was besonders an der liebevollen und gepflegten Ausstattung des Ferienhauses gelegen hat. Auch von Sesta Godano selbst sind wir begeistert. Zwar nur 20 km von den Cinque Terre entfernt, aber ohne jeglichen Touristenrummel.
Die Leute im Ort sind uns herzlich entgegengekommen, auch wenn wir kein Wort italienisch gesprochen haben. Es gibt eine ausgezeichnete Pizzeria im Ort und eine Pasticeria mit ganz leckeren Süßigkeiten.
Ich kann La Casina nur bestens weiter empfehlen.

Dörliches Idyll mit Anschluss in Touristenregion

Wir haben die Ferien in "La Casina" sehr angenehm erlebt. Obwohl kein Bilderbuchwetter war, haben wir uns mit dem holzgeheizten kleinen Ofen immer Geborgenheit verschaffen und uns entspannen können. Die Einrichtung war für uns zweckmässig, alles Nötige war vorhanden. Die Lage im Dorf mit den Gemüsegärten und den kleinen Läden hat uns sehr entsprochen. Mit der Verwalterin vor Ort konnten wir herzlich und unkompliziert verkehren. Trotz des eher kühlen und manchmal regnerischen Wetters haben wir genügend Gelegenheiten zum Wandern an der Sonne gefunden, und uns dann eben die Zeit für einen Abstecher in die Toscana nach Lucca genommen, was von Sosta Godano aus ja keine Weltreise ist. Wir können das Domizil für Ferienreisende, welche die dörfliche Umgebung mit Wandermöglichkeiten schätzen und bereit sind, zu den Tourismuszentren eine halbe Stunde zu fahren, nur empfehlen.

Man kann nicht alles haben? Doch!

La Casina hat meinen lang ersehnten Traum einer ruhigen Woche (in der Tat sehr ruhig!) mit der Möglichkeit spontaner Ausflüge in die schönsten Orte dieses gesegneten Landstrichs erfüllt. Man muss nichts planen. Alles ist in Reichweite: die Cinque Terre, Lunigiana und Garfagnana, Genua mit seinem Großstadt-Flair und dem schönen Aquarium, Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio. All diese Ziele liegen weinger als eine Autostunde von La Casina entfernt. Der Ort Sesta Godano selbst ist angenehm und ruhig, der Ausblick von den Fenstern auf mindestens 2 Seiten des Hauses atemberaubend. In 0 bis 5 Minuten ist man überall, wo man üppig und echt italienisch einkaufen kann, für ausgezeichnete Abendessen zu Hause. Überall in der Umgebung locken gute und relativ preisgünstige Restaurants. Abends ist es meistens kühl und man bleibt in Sesta selbst im Hochsommer von der sengenden italienischen Hitze verschont. Das Haus ist im besten Zustand, groß (aus den Fotos sieht man leider nicht, wie groß der zentrale Bereich des Hauses tatsächlich ist) und sehr sauber gehalten. Und die Vermieter sind echte Engel, wenn es darum geht, gute Tipps zu geben. Danke, LA CASINA!!!
