House 'Le Bocage': Wonderful location, romantically surrounded by light stone pine forest in suitable atmosphere. Only 600 m from the beach with fantastic sand dunes and ocean. Village about 500 m away with a market and fresh products daily as well as shops and restaurants. Main and secondary house (about 6 m apart) for max. 6 people. Main house with bedroom and living room. Baby bed and high-chair provided. The fireplace is very cosy, outdoor grill on the terrace, in addition to meat, you could also prepare native seafood on an outdoor sideboard (fish, oysters, muscles etc.). Wine lovers also have a great time on this island. 1 dishwasher and 1 washing machine in kitchen. Secondary house has 2 bedrooms with separate entrance (French doors). There are sun beds, sunny and shady spots in the garden. There are many places of interest and sport activities near and far, golf (10 km). Only rented privately, no sub-letting, no commercial advertising.

There are many recreational activities on the Ile d´Oléron. You can go horse riding, cycling and hiking through pristine stone pine forests. The small capital of St. Pierre has a beautiful pedestrian zone with nice shops and restaurants as well as a beautiful church. There are also concerts, flea markets and theatrical performances here. The small neighbouring harbour city, 10 min away by car, offers the finest culinary delights. The beach is totally safe to walk to with children, however, you can also spend the whole day in the garden in a cosy corner and really relax! There are numerous beautiful beaches to explore on all sides of the island coast, the ocean always shows a different face. You can take a great evening walk from the house with walks to the ocean for a wonderful view of the sunset! Pure relaxation in this idyllic house.
