Fantastic stay

I have to admit that when I booked this chalet, I did not realise just how close to L'Olympique (bubble lift) it would be. You literally roll out of your door and it is there. Not only is it close to the ski lifts, but it is also central for all the bars and restaurants in town also.
There were 8 of us for our stay in La Bergerie and we each had a double bed, plenty of room to store suitcases and importantly, room for our skiis and boards to be stowed safely away.
The lounge is a fantastic entertaining space and we happily cooked meals in the kitchen (be sure to ask how to work the dishwasher and oven though, it's not immediately obvious!).
4 bathrooms means there was never a fight for the shower in the morning, nor ever a fight for the sofa in the evening since there is seating for about 20 people.
There are cleaning materials and washing products galore supplied, as are towels and even food basics. This chalet really did leave nothing to be desired.
If I had one word of caution, it would only be that if you love natural light, in high ski season, there is undoubtedly mountains of snow outside and around the chalet, which can cut out a great deal of light reaching the inside of La Bergerie. However, there are ample lamps and lightshades everywhere to compensate for this.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay in La Bergerie again. 5*, a must for a large group looking for a real social place to spend their post-ski evenings.
