The apartment is part of a medieval house in the historical city centre of Apricale, one of the most beautiful mountain villages in Italy. In just a few minutes on foot, you can reach the Piazza, the small shops and the countless restaurants in the village. During the past years, the apartment was completely renovated and very attractively equipped. It includes a well-equipped kitchen (gas stove, oven, microwave), a small bedroom (bunk beds where the lower level can be pulled out and can be used as a double bed), a living room with a dining space and sofa bed, and a shower/bath. From the living room you will have access to the sunny terrace, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley. During the cooler season, the apartment can be heated with a pellet oven. About 50m from the house you will find a public, free parking space from which you can get to the apartment on foot through the alley and a few, very steep steps.

The typical medieval village Apricale is located nestled steeply on a cliff spur above the valley of Merdanzo. Particularly impressive is the view when you arrive into the city from the coast (17 km from Bordighera) through Isolabona. Apricale is well known due to the theatre acts and countless artistic activities that occur on the Piazza during the summer. The area around Apricales offers various nice excursions and hiking destinations, like the French coast with Nice (60 km), Menton (28 km) and Monte Carlo (36 km) or the diverse Ligurian backcountry with the mountain village of Molini di Triora (36 km). In addition to smaller shops, the visitors can go to a few restaurants with inexpensive, traditional Ligurian cuisine.
