Le Pinier des Ajots is a large country house with approx. 200 m² of ground surface and 1200 m² of garden in idyllic surroundings. It’s about 20 km to the coast and about 35 minutes by car to the beach. The house is in the little town of Champagne with only 500 inhabitants. In Champagne there is a baker, but if you need a supermarket, newspaper shops, pharmacy etc. you’ll find it all 3 km away in Pont L'Abbé d'Arnoult. The country house has six bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, a large kitchen, two bathrooms (with bath or shower), laundry kitchen, covered terrace and a garage. It includes a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, grill and bicycles. Because of the way it’s laid out, with 2 bedrooms below, 4 bedrooms above, the house can be occupied by 2 or 3 persons or by up to 10 persons (two families). Dogs by arrangement.

In Pinier des Ajots it’s easy to combine a tranquil, idyllic countryside holiday with visiting the varied coastal districts and lots of nature reserves. The islands of Ré, Oléron, Aix and Madame are easy to get to. This region contains Roman sites like Saintes and fantastic harbour towns like La Rochelle, as well as picturesque fishing and artists’ villages. In summer the whole region has an enormous number of attractions. In the immediate vicinity of the house there are lots of gorgeous hikes and bicycle tours. The house is just like an ancient French country house containing lots of space inside and outside for an enjoyable, relaxing holiday.
