Very special land marked villa for an acquired taste, built approximately 1914 by the famous architect Henry van de Velde. It is near to forest and near the city of Hagen. Ample eat-in kitchen (24 sq) with fireplace, completely equipped. Large furnished patio (39 sq). Two of the four bedrooms are equipped with a wash-basin, one with a balcony. The house designed by Henry van de Velde has no rectangular or square rooms - you will find alcoves and jutties everywhere which are conveying and has a very special atmosphere to live in. It is ideal starting point for small expanded tours into the Ruhrgebiet or Sauerland at any time of the year. Hagen is called the 'gate to the Sauerland', a very green place and situated only a few kilometres away from the metropolises of the Ruhrgebiet like Essen, Oberhausen, Bochum and Dortmund. It lies in a calm area at the Goldberg directly at the forest with a view over the city of Hagen. Designated hiking trails are directly nearby. The city is available within a walking distance of approximately 10 minutes. You find very different restaurants at walking distance. Very interesting museums, castles and other attractions are making sightseeing an experience.

Ein Traumhaus für den Traumurlaub!

Wir waren im August 2008 mit 6 Personen ( 4 Erwachsenen, 2 Kindern und 2 Hunden) aufgrund einer Familienfeier in Hagen.
Zuerst wollten wir nur ein Wochenende dort verbringen, entschieden uns dann aber spontan für eine ganze Woche...
Und diese Woche in der wunderschönen "Märchen-Villa" war einmalig!
Das Haus ist so liebevoll und detailreich eingerichtet, das wir selbst nach 7 Tagen immer wieder neues, schönes & überraschendes dort entdeckten!
Die Betreung war umwerfend liebenswert und die Lage ist absolut großartig und für Wanderfreunde wie auch Erlebnisshungrige sehr empfehlenswert!
Der allgemeine Zustand der Villa ist sehr gut und "urig".
Wir würden dieses außergewöhnliche Ferienhaus ( "Villa" trifft es viel besser!) jederzeit weiterempfehlen.
Erwähnenswert ist auch, das sehr,sehr viele gute Restaurants ( der nahe Italiener verdient unserer Meinung nach mindestens Sterne!) in unmittelbarer Nähe zu finden sind.
Aber auch für Selbstversorger ist die Küche perfekt eingerichtet ( der für uns am ehesten in Frage kommende Einkaufsmarkt war allerdings einige Autominuten entfernt)
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und bedanken uns sehr,sehr herzlich für wunderbare Tage in der Villa!

Wir freuen uns, dass bisher alle Mieter - ob Kurz- oder Langzeiturlauber, Geschäftsreisende, Damen- oder Herren-Cliquen, Messebesucher, Familien oder Paare, Seminarteilnehmer oder Künstergruppen - sehr zufrieden mit dem vorgefundenen Umfeld waren.
Diese Villa ist einfach etwas Besonderes und bietet Überraschendes in außergewöhnlichem Ambiente. Durch die zentrale und trotzdem ruhige Lage im Grünen findet jeder genau das, was er sucht.

Ideales Domizil für jede Art von Aufenthalt -

Wir (6 Männer auf Dienstausflugmit 3 Ü) haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Voll ausgestattete Küche, Grill vorhanden, Platz ohne Ende. Nette, freundliche Vermieter tun ihr übriges.
Urgemütliche Zimmer in denen man sich sofort heimisch fühlt.
Nostalgie pur. Haben uns bis auf einmal selbstverpflegt. Leider hat der Pizza-Dienst aus Hagen versagt.
Das Ferienhaus hat den Begriff Villa verdient und ist hundertprozentig weiter zu empfehlen.
Owner's Response: Über so nette Gäste freuen wir uns immer, hoffentlich bis bald mal wieder! Schade, dass der Pizza-Service nicht klappte, eigentlich haben wir in Hagen ja genug Anbieter in der Nähe, hier nützte aber wohl der Wettbewerb nichts ...

Schöne Urlaubswoche

Wir waren im Juni 2009 mit 6 Erwachsenen und einen kleinen Hund in dieser schönen Natursteinvilla. Die Bilder waren so genau, das wir uns sofort auskannten und uns heimisch fühlten. Es war alles da was zu einem Haushalt gehört.
Kleines Manko waren die verschiedenen, seit Jahren abgelaufenenTeesorten da man sich schnell vergreifen kann.
Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und gab viele Tips zu Unternehmungen.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gab es reichlich, welche man mit dem Auto alle innerhalb von max. 10min erreichen konnte.
Die Gaststätte oberhalb vom Haus sollte erwähnt werden, da man dort lecker essen gehen konnte.
Für das Freilichtmuseum sollte man sich einen ganzen Tag Zeit nehmen.
Diese Villa ist sehr empfehlenswert für Wanderer und Ruhesuchender.
Owner's Response: Wir freuen uns, dass sich alle sofort heimisch fühlen. Da wir nur die Übernachtungen anbieten, ist es eigentlich nicht zu erwarten, dass die Küche mit Lebensmitteln bestückt ist. Trotzdem sorgen wir dafür, dass z.B. Spülmaschinentabs, Spülmittel, Waschpulver und Toilettenpapier etc. ebenso wie Zucker, Salz und Gewürze immer als Basis vorhanden sind. Normalerweise sind insbesondere Gäste, die Samstagsabends anreisen, hierfür dankbar. Falls gewünscht, kaufen wir auch im Vorfeld alles ein, was bis zum Montag benötigt wird. In diesem Fall sind die Tees von anderen Mietern dort gelassen und von uns versehentlich nicht durchgesehen worden. Wir haben sofort aussortiert und nur noch frischen Tee und Kaffee im Angebot. Es soll an nichts fehlen!
