The charming holiday home is located idyllically on a small elevation in an absolutely peaceful, sunny & traffic-free region. The street ends in a cul de sac. The house was completely renovated in 2007/2008, whereby the high quality & biological construction materials were considered. The character of the old house remained preserved, for example, the natural stone floors on the ground floor, some visible natural stone & the large granite fireplace (with a pipe running through the house - no smoke in the house). Enjoy long evenings on the west-facing terrace cosily with a good red wine & the best French cheese. From here you can observe the long sunset. A romantic garden (south side) offers a lot of space & tranquillity to eat breakfast, read, grill, etc. The house is for connoisseurs and nature lovers that place a lot of value on tranquillity and comfort. The kitchen is very well equipped with a gas stove from the 90s & modern electric appliances. The beds also have German standards.

Nearest Train: Villedieu at 7 Kilometres

The holiday house is located about 7 km from the lively small city of Vielledieu-les-Poeles (the copper and bell founder city). Here you will also have very good shopping facilities and weekly markets with super fresh groceries, fish, vegetables, etc. In a max. of 30 minutes (mostly a fast street) you can reach the beautiful beaches. Visit the picturesque harbour city of Granville as well, great for strolling. In under 10 min. you can reach the zoo of Champrepus. Mon St Michel is about 45 km away (fast street). Gavray is also a nice city 7 km away. Ferries go from Granville to the canal islands of Jersey, etc. If you would like to go out to eat quickly in the evening, there are very good local restaurants in, for example, Fleury about 3 - 4 km away, or in Villedieu. Large purchases can be done in Villedieu, there you will always find a fresh selection of fish and mussels. For gourmet chefs, we recommend shopping in Avranches, there you will find everything there is.

Ein phantastisches Ferienhaus beim dem alles stimmt.

Die Lage ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Touren durch die Normandie und in die Bretagne.
Die Ausstattung ist vollständig und geschmackvoll, keine zusammengewürfelten Reste. Der Empfang sehr freundschaftlich und die Brennholzversorgung durch den Hausmeister war stets gesichert, so dass wir im Herbst kaum die Heizung gebraucht haben. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und die Zeit, die viel zu kurz war, sehr genossen. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Wir haben uns in La Lorie sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist gepflegt und sehr sauber und beinhaltet alles was man sich wünscht, von der Kücheneinrichtung bis hin zu den Badezimmern. Das Einzige, was uns gefehlt hat ist ein Sonnenschirm, die Sonne dort ist doch etwas heftiger als bei uns.
Vom Haus aus konnten wir in viele Richtungen Unternehmungen starten, so dass wir uns in die bezaubernde Landschaft der Normandie richtiggehend verliebt haben.
Der Urlaub war somit rund um perfekt.

Unser Urlaub im Ferienhaus La Lorie war herrlich. Schon vorab die Abwicklung mit den Vermietern lief bestens, auch vor Ort wurden wir toll von dem Hausmeisterehepaar empfangen und in die örtlichen Gegebenheiten eingeführt. Das Ferienhaus war sehr sauber und gepflegt, aber vor allem die romantische und ruhige Atmosphäre ist unbezahlbar !!! Auch unsere Hündin Lily hat sich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gibt in der näheren Umgebung sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Auch die ärztliche (und tierärztliche) Versorgung ist super.
Ausflugsmöglichkeiten gibt es z.B. ans Meer; dort kann man stundenlang wandern und das herrliche Klima genießen. Mont St. Michel ist natürlich auch ein Muss. In der Nähe gibt es einen Zoo (allerdings ist für Hunde der Eintritt verboten) und auch gute Möglichkeiten zum Shopping ...
Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir freuen uns auf eine Wiederkehr im nächsten Jahr.
