Century old, fragrant pine forests and freshwater/salt water lakes create the natural environment of the wide fairways and well-kept gardens of the 700 hectometer exclusive relaxation and villa region of Quinta do Lago.

The water sport center by the freshwater lake offers sailing and surfing classes for children. There is also a pool by the lake for small children.
