Only about 200 m from the sandy beach and about 50 m above sea level the large and well-kept house is located. It will convince you through the equipment the excellent location. It comprises 4 bedrooms and is perfectly suitable for two to 8 people that are looking for a holiday in a nice and spacious environment. In December 'including Christmas tree' The sun terrace (about 230 m²) with its ca. 7.1 x 4.5 m solar-heated pool (heating of the water by solar collectors) invites you for hours of relaxation. The pool appears stylish and romantic in the dark with its colourful illumination. The terrace is partly roofed, has 2 comfortable seating areas, an exterior kitchen with a fireplace grill as well as an additional dining area with fireplace. Parasol, loungers etc. are of course available. The marvellous view on the Bay of San Marcos and the sea will make you remember these holidays for a long time.

The small, romantic beach of Playa de San Marcos is less known with the tourists but because its fine, dark sand it is the favoured bathing spot for insiders. It is situated in a protected place, deeply cut in the cliff-lined bay. Because of the wind and water protected area it is perfect for swimming, also during winter time. Parasols and loungers can be rented. On the beach there is a small promenade with several cafés, restaurants and bars and a pharmacy. A small supermarket is in ca. 150 m distance from the house, a bus stop in ca. 70 m. Ca. 100 m from the beach there is the small fishing port where you can buy freshly caught fish directly from the fishermen.

Surroundings: In close proximity you can discover a lot, like e.g.: Icod de los Vinos, only 2 km away, which is surrounded by wine terraces and banana trees. The biggest attraction is the ca. „1000 years“ old, massive dragon tree 'Drago milenario'. It is situated in the „Parque del Drago“. Here you will receive a good impression about the Canarian vegetation. The tree-covered hills above Icod with laid out hiking tracks invite you to go hiking or only walking a bit. In the small town Garachico (ca. 5 km away) you can visit the nice old town with its fortress.

Cities: Life in all its colour can be experienced in the harbour town Puerto de la Cruz (ca. 20 km away). The old city is very historic with a lot of shops and restaurants. The famous Orotava Valley (that has even been described by Humboldt) is ca. 25 km away. In the old town of Orotava you can admire the nice, carved balconies.

Countrysides: Crossing the Orotava Valley you can drive all the way up to the Teide, the highest mountain of Spain (3,718 m). Up here on the 'crater' (ca. 16 km diameters, ca. 2,200 m high) you can marvel at the simply fantastic countryside. With an aerial railway you can 'float' onto a height of ca. 3,550 m and enjoy the wonderful view from there. After application you can also 'scale' the peak. If you are light on your feet, it is a must to hike through the 'Masca' canyon in the Teno Mountains (ca. 30 km away). Here you can discover the breath-taking countryside in 3 - 4 hours.

Golf: On maybe the prettiest golf course of Tenerife in Buenavista del Norte (ca. 15 km), directly located at the sea with a fantastic background, designed by the Spanish top golfer Severiano Ballesteros, you can try out your handicap.

Wir waren vom 1.8. bis 15.8.2009 in diesem Haus -2 Personen, wir haben gerne viel Platz.
Haus liebevoll gestaltet und alles da was man braucht.
Küche voll eingerichtet , alles vorhanden.
Terasse traumhaft, gross und obwohl sich das Haus in einem kleinen Ort befindet, sieht man von der Terasse nur die Berge und das Meer, schöner könnte ein Ausblick gar nicht sein, das Pool ist wunderbar, wenn man schwimmt sieht man nur die Berge und Klippen rundherum.
FKK möglich da Haus nicht einsehbar.
Matratzen sind für mich zu weich gewesen.Bettwäsche sehr angenehm,
ausreichend Handtücher vorhanden.
Haus innen wunderbar, grosser Wohnraum mit bequemer Sitzgarnitur.
Wir konnten uns das Schlafzimmer aussuchen ,2 grössere und
2 kleinere , diese gehen in den Wirtschaftsraum, aber für Kinder und Jugendliche ok.
Dieses Haus kann man wirklich empfehlen für Menschen die nicht ein volles Hotel möchten und nicht den Stress des Liegen belegens, wollen.
Wir waren Golf spielen, ein wunderbarer Platz ca. 15 km entfernt in Buenavista.
Der Hausverwalter und seine Frau sind besonders nett und helfen, wenn man was braucht.
Wir kommen sicher wieder und werden das Haus auch allen Freunden empfehlen.
Ich habe sehr viel gekocht, da mir das Essen in den Restaurants zu fett ist.
Einkaufen am besten im Dino, der hat alles was man braucht.

Ein schönes Haus mit kleinen Mängeln

Beschreibung im Inserat korrekt. Sehr schöne Terrasse mit Pool. Wunderschöner Freisitz. Sauberkeit i.O. Betreuung durch den Beauftragten des Vermieter nett. Lage und Ausblick schön. Gute Restaurants am Strand nahe bei.

Kleine Mängel trübten die Freude:
Kaffeemaschine mit schlechter Funktion, Außengrill defekt, nicht nutzbar, Durchfeuchtungsschäden in einem der Schlafzimmer (Putz rieselte von der Decke, Durchfeuchtung an der Wand durch einen Wandteppich abgedeckt, Warmwasserversorgung zum Duschen und Waschen dürftig.

Auch andere Nutzer haben bereits angemerkt, dass das zum Innenhof belegene Schlafzimmer nicht ausreichend belüftet werden kann.
Owner's Response: Die Kaffeemaschine war etwas verkalkt, wurde natürlich umgehend behoben.
Der Außengrill funktioniert einwandfrei.
Leider gab es kurz vor dem besuch der Gäste einen kleinen Wasserschaden (was ja mal vorkommen kann), der nätürlich umgehend behoben wurde. Die Wände konnten in der kürze der Zeit nicht mehr ganz austrocknen. Zwischenzeitlich ist natürlich alles wieder in Ordnung.
Für die Warmwasserversorgung gibt es einen 300 l Speicher, der eigendlich für 6 Personen reichen sollte. Bisher war er immer, auch für 8 Personen, ausreichend.
Das zum Innenhof (Patio) liegende Schlafzimmer hat ein ganz normal großes Fenster. Die Patioüberdachung ist rundum seitlich offen, sodas eigendlich eine ausreichende Belüftung gewährleistet ist.

schönes Urlaubsziel

Im Juni 2009 haben wir mit insgesamt 7 Personen eine Woche in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Die Lage ist, wie im Online-Inserat beschrieben, traumhaft. In Sachen Sauberkeit und Qualität der Ausstattung lässt dieses Haus nichts zu wünschen übrig. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und komfortabel. Der wunderschöne Pool ist sehr sauber. Ein besonderes Highlight dieses Pools ist die abendliche und nächtliche Beleuchtung in unterschiedlichen Farben, die auch zu späterer Stunde noch zum Baden in munterem Farbenspiel einlädt. Durch den sehr netten, ortsansässigen, deutschsprachigen Hausverwalter fühlt man sich sehr gut betreut. Etwa 5 Gehminten entfernt befinden sich verschiedene Restaurants in denen man, direkt am Meer sitzend, unter anderem herrlich frischen Fisch zu sehr günstigen Preisen bekommt. Wer gerne wandert, bekommt beispielsweise in verschiedenen Schluchten, oder auf dem Teide ein faszinierendes Landschaftsbild geboten. Diese Ziele sind vom Ferienhaus aus gut zu erreichen, es empfiehlt sich jedoch ein Mietwagen. Auch das junge oder jung gebliebene Partyvolk kommt nicht zu kurz. Im ca. 30 Minuten entfernten Puerto de la Cruz kann vorallem am Wochenende bis in die frühen Morgenstunden gefeiert werden. Ich kann einen Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen und freue mich schon sehr darauf dort bald wieder ein Paar Tage verbringen zu können.

Wunderschöne weitläufige Terasse, die eigentlich den Mittelpunkt unseres 14 tägigen Aufenthaltes Ende Juli/ Anfang August 2008 bildete. Sehr gepflegtes, gut ausgestattes großes Haus, in dem wir uns aufgrund der vielen Gänge und Türen die ersten Tage fast verlaufen hätten. Optimale Betreuung vor Ort (Schlüsselübergabe fast in der Nacht, Einkaufsberatung am Sonntag etc.).

Einziges Manko: 2 der 4 Schlafzimmer haben Ihr Fenster zu der Waschküche (Überachter Innenhof), so das es dort nachts etwas stickig wurde. Empfehlung: Der Besitzer könnte mal neue Matrazen (gibts ja günstig bei Ikea) anschaffen. Waren für uns o.k., aber vermutlich für Leute mit empfindlichem Rücken problematisch.

Der Grillpatz und die Kaminecke sind auch klasse, entfalten Ihren ganzen Charme vermutlich an kälteren Abenden in den Wintermonaten. Entfernung zur Bucht und damit zum Strand. ca. 5 Gehminuten (Die Bucht ist von der Terasse zu sehen).

Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Haus wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Bei diesem Ferienhaus waren die Angaben im Online-Inserat sogar noch untertrieben: eine traumhaft schönes Domizil, sauber, gepflegt..am schönsten die elegante Terrasse mit dem Blick auf das Meer, der nahe gelegene Badestrand mit der intimen Promenade und dem kleinen Restaurant. Der fangfriche Fisch und den regionalen Köstlichkeiten.... Nur meinen Feinden würde ich abraten, die Ferien im Casa Suerte zu verbringen. Es ist zu schön. Prof. Dr. Konrad L.
