The romantic farmhouse is located on 1100 m altitude at the Nöring Valley between Rennweg & Gmünd and between the natural reserves 'Hohe Tauern' & 'Nockberge'. The 100 sqm apartment contains a spacious living room with seating corners, tiled stove, TV, map of hiking tracks, books & kitchen with dish washer, a parental bedroom, bathroom with shower, two children's rooms with 2 large beds, 2 children's beds, a cot, baby changing unit, high chair & toys. All rooms have electrical heating. Balcony all around and a marvellous view on the Nock Mountains. Sauna and washing machine in the basement. The garden contains a large sun terrace, many seats & a tiny stream. In front of the house a drinking water fountain is splashing. The administrator on the ground floor will be pleased to support you. At the organic farmer next door you can buy bread, milk, butter, juices, jams, berries, mushrooms. An occupancy with 6 adults is possible for a fee of 30 €/day (extra double bedroom with shower).

Golf: There are several very nice golf courses in the surrounding that reduce each others green fee. Lungau: ca. 20 km. Obermillstatt: ca. 20 km. Radstadt: ca. 60 km. Kleinkirchheim: ca. 60 km. Udine (Italy) and Bled (Slowenia) are nice trips.

Skiing: There is no slope directly at the house. The nearest skiing area is in Innerkrems (ca. 17 km), where the Austrian National Team is training and Katschberg (ca. 20 km) The ski bus runs several times daily from Gmünd over Eisentratten to both areas. Further skiing areas are Goldeck (close to Gmünd, ca. 20 km) Obertauern (ca. 50 km) and Kleinkirchheim (ca. 50 km).

Swimming, sailing, surfing, paddling: The lakes in Kärnten are the warmest in Europe, and the water in the rivers, streams and lakes is the cleanest. Outdoor pool Gmünd (ca. 5 km), Millstätter Lake (ca. 10 km), Weißen Lake (ca. 50 km), Wörther Lake (ca. 60 km).
