Large (165 m2), 2-story, newly renovated house (ready for rental May 2008). First floor: entrance, two new bathrooms, both with shower and toilet, one with sauna, whirlpool, washing mashine and dryer, dining area, lounge area with TV, DVD and stereo, new, open kitchen with dish washer, ceramic stove and american-style refrigerator, one bedroom. Second floor: 4 bedrooms, TV area. Modern style interoiour with emphasis on a bright and open style. The house is situated on a large lot. Direct access from lounge to south-facing terrace with garden furniture. Small path leading to beach (200 m).

Even by Bornholm standards, Sømarken is extraordinarily authentic. In Østre Sømarken (East Sømarken) the small “island habour” has been the basis of life in the small fishing hamlet, feeding most of the residents there. The harbour continues to play a role for fishing, although now only on a hobby basis. Guests visiting the area can be so lucky as to be able to buy freshly caught fish directly off the boat. In the local smokehouse, Bakkarøgeriet, guests to the area can taste the Bornholmian fishing specialities and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Throughout the summer, you can experience live music and fish buffet in the smokehouse in the evenings. Furthermore, the area offers crazy golf, ice cream parlour, bicycle rental. In 'Vester Sømarken' you will find a gourmet restaurant with an extraordinary location. Dunes and beach invite you to wander through the area or to bring your food and eat under open sky.
