A luxurious hideaway commanding a unique view of the Upper Arno Valley
LaVilla is a hideaway set in 35,000 square metres of grounds, commanding a beautiful view of the Upper Arno Valley. On our spacious property, there are three luxurious holiday homes available for our guests. The estate's main building is the home of your hosts, Ilva and Arthur Tollert. A maximum of six guests enjoy a private and exclusive setting. A park designed in the style of the Italian Renaissance, terraces with fruit trees and flowers, aromatic bushes and wild vine create an ambience of peace and relaxation. In the sunniest and quietest spot of the estate, we have created a small wellness area, which includes a swimming pool, the Paradiso summerhouse and a Finnish sauna. All residences are furnished tastefully with great attention to detail. Exquisite art objects create a luxurious atmosphere. Our house-maid Cornelia cares for the cleaning of the apartments and the laundry and change of bed linen and towels.

Classical, elegant, serene, luxurious. La Stalla, actually a former rabbit hutch, is located in a private area about 150m from the main building. From the outside a rustic building, La Stalla reveals an elegant Italian interior design. Shiny floors, valuable fabrics, a marble fireplace as well as exquisite furnishings and art objects create a luxurious ambience. You will be living on two floors, which are connected by a spiral staircase. Via the living room you enter your own private terrace, lined by blooming bushes and flowers, and enjoy a superb view across the countryside. The upper floor has the bedroom, the dressing room and an exquisite marble bathroom. La Stalla blends luxury with a rustic setting, creating a charming contrast.

LaVilla is nestled in the heart of Tuscany, in the triangle formed by Florence, Siena and Arezzo. The estate is situated 800 metres above sea level, close to the old village of Trappola and set on the slopes of the Pratomagno, the chestnut- and beech-wooded foothills of the Tuscan Apennine Mountains. Because of its altitude, the area offers a healthy and agreeable climate even in midsummer. To the south, panoramic views overlook the Arno Valley and the Chianti hills. The art treasures of Florence as well as the quaint town of Arezzo are about 35km away, and the medieval town of Siena is not much farther. La Villa is close to the Pratogmagno nature reserve, a hiker’s paradise at your doorstep, leading all the way to the scenic Casentino.
