Romantic house, few minutes to private beach, dogs welcome

Our vacation home was newly built in 2003 in a Carinthian style on a 2000 m² seaside property; another privately used house is located nearby on Lake Ossiach. The house has two apartments, each with 1 living room and a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms (wedding bed, 2 beds), 2 baths and 2 WCs. All furniture is custom made. Each apartment has a separate entrance and a private grilling/sitting space in the garden. The romantic, private beach is only 170 steps away; there you will find chairs, tables, a boat house and a row boat. The house is surrounded by meadows and a forest, 1 km path to Ossiach. 8 km street to the shopping city of Feldkirchen. We love to rent to families with children and dogs – up to 5 people are welcome per apartment. Sheets, dishes, machines are all there. The apartment “Haubentaucher” on the ground floor has a large patio, the apartment “Libelle” on the 2nd floor has a large balcony with a table and chairs. Winter and summer season!

The “Haubentaucher” apartment was named after the sea bird, the great crested grebe, and is located on the ground floor of our vacation home. Each vacation apartment has 2 bedrooms, each with a bathroom and WC. One bedroom has a marriage bed (2 beds put together), the other has two single beds, a bed with rails is possible for small children. 5 people can sleep in the living/dining room on a pull out couch. The kitchen is also in the living room and has an electric stove, ice box, dishwasher, all dishes and spices, etc. A sitting corner with a satellite television, all German and international stations. Our vacation apartment is spaciously furnished; each apartment has a washing machine. Our beach is natural, a large lawn, beautiful seats, volleyball field, a large dock and a row boat. A fishing card can be used by the nearby fishing club Äsche. There is a table with 6 chairs and a sun umbrella on the sunny patio.

Ossiach is a famous resort with a thousand year history on warm Lake Ossiach (24° C during the summer). The cultural performance “Carinthian Summer” occurs every year in July and August in Ossiach – here you will find the famous concerts and the church opera in the old baroque church. The climate is sunny and warm, the forests are ideal for hikes, biking; there are mountains nearby for climbing. Our house is located in the middle of meadows, has a private beach and a row boat. You can go fishing, horseback riding and golfing and golfing. A nice daily excursion is to the historical centre of Kärnten; Slovakia and Venice are nearby. Our house is especially ideal for children, dogs are welcome. There is an especially diverse population of birds, you can see and hear the rare golden oriole during August. You will have a stunning mountain panorama from the house; the tall Gerlitzen is directly in view. A vacation home with the finest comfort in the quietness of nature.
