The property from the 17th century consists of 2 Provençal style houses and is located on 15,000 m² of land. The owners live in the mill and they are happy to help you with any questions about the area or excursions. The house is separate from the main house and has its own entrance as well as terrace (27m²) with pergola. The lovingly designed garden with olive trees and the green hills of the lavender plateau can be seen from the terrace. A common pool (5 x 9 m) serves for recreation. The 'La Bergerie' house was elaborately restored in a style typical for that area and provides approx. 48 m² space for 2-4 people. It has a well-equipped kitchen with a dining/living area, 2 bedrooms and a modern bathroom with shower and WC. Thanks to the well insulated windows and ceiling and the thick stone walls, a comfortable temperature can be maintained even in summer. In the colder months, the house is heated with a wood stove.

The house is located in the heart of the romantic Haute Provence between the ocean and the mountains. It is an ideal starting point for hiking and sightseeing. Enjoy the quiet and nature or go on excursions to e.g Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, to the ochre quarry in Roussillon, the cliff line of Cassis, in Carmargue. Or visit the spectacular Verdon Gorge and take advantage of all the nature and water sport activities. In the summer, the region offers many cultural activities, the Aix-en-Provence festival, the theatre festival in Avignon or the piano festival in La Roque d'Antheron. In nearby Oraison (5 km) you can find everything that makes-up a typical French town, bakeries, cafés, a market day, Bar tobacco, small restaurants, chemist and smaller shops, supermarkets and a swimming lake as well. Some of the most beautiful Provençal markets are also nearby.

Ich habe jedes Jahr aufs Neue das Glück den "Moulin du Bicail", aber vor allem seine zwei phantasischen Besitzer (:-))im verträumten Le Castellet besuchen zu können. Und schon kurz nach der Heimreise ins verregnete Oberberg packt mich das Fernweh....nach frischen Brioche inkl. Kaffee auf der Terrasse, den Blick ins Grüne im Garten oder dem Lauschen des Grillenzirpen (bzw. Froschgesang) in der Abenddämmerung!

Danke für viele schöne Besuche im "trauten Heim". Viele viele Grüße & A très bientôt!

Es war unser erster Urlaub in der Provence und er war wunderschön! Wir haben die Ruhe des Häuschens mit seiner sehr liebevollen und geschmackvollen Einrichtung genossen, die beeindruckende Idylle der Landschaft (absolut sehenswert: die Schlucht von Verdon!) und das pulsierende Leben in Städten wie Marseille, Avignon oder Aix-en-Provence. Es gibt so viel zu entdecken und sehen, dass wir gerne wiederkommen möchten. Ganz lieben Dank an die total netten Vermieter des schönen Häuschens, wir haben uns wirklich zuhause gefühlt!

Vielen Dank für 2 entspannende Wochen ohne Zeitung und Fernsehen. Die Ferienwohnung ist perfekt. Die sehr sympathischen und netten Eigentümer haben an alles gedacht. Das geschmackvoll eingerichtete Haus und der mit Liebe gestaltete und gepflegte Garten laden einfach zum erholen ein. Meine Favoriten waren der mit Quellwasser gefüllte Pool und die frischen Feigen vom Baum! Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen und können das Haus sehr empfehlen.

Diese Unterkunft kann man wirklich nur weiterempfehlen!
Das Ferienhaus ist freundlich mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt, so dass man sich sofort wohl fühlt. In dem sehr schön angelegten und üppig blühenden Garten sitzt man in einer ruhigen grüne Oase, in der man wunderbar Insekten wie z. B. Schmetterlinge oder Schwärmer beobachten oder nachts Sternbilder bewundern kann. Beide Vermieter sind besonders freundlich, offen und hilfsbereit; auch durch sie fühlt man sich rasch "zu Hause".
Durch die Nähe zur Autobahn ( ca. 6 km ) sind Ausflugsziele wie Aix oder die Küste leicht erreichbar, ferner kann man wunderbar auf kleinen Landstraßen die Umgebung erkunden.

Die Provence von Ihrer schönsten Seite

Im Juli haben wir zwei traumhafte Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Das Haus ist großzügig angelegt und besonders liebevoll ausgestattet. Ein wunderschöner Garten mit Swimming-Pool bietet Erholung und Entspannung und rundet das perfekte Ambiente ab.
Daneben haben wir von unseren super netten Gastgebern viele wertvolle individuelle Tipps für besonders schöne Wanderungen und interessante Ausflugsziele bekommen.
Die Lage des Ferienhauses ist ideal als Ausgangspunkt für viele Aktivitäten von Wandern über Sport bis Kultur in der Provence. Die Alpen sind immer in Blickweite und auch das Meer ist nur eine Autostunde weg. Aber wer es lieber etwas ruhiger mag, sollte sich seine Ziele im Sommer in der Provence suchen, dort ist es nicht ganz so überlaufen.
Wir können Bergerie du Moulin auf jeden Fall und ohne jede Einschränkung weiterempfehlen. Wir danken unseren Gastgebern herzlich für diesen tollen Urlaub und werden ganz bestimmt wiederkommen.
