Our vacation apartment is located in a beautiful Area - far from any noise - between the Baroque city of Salzburg and lake Fuschl. Salzburg is a center for music and art fans alike. The nearby lakes and mountains offer great opportunities to hike or ski. Beautiful Golf courses are very close (less than 15 minutes by car). Our spacious apartment is on the second floor of our lovely controu home and offers enough room for up to seven people. On 92 square meters you find a large living room with a typical Austrian stove, a kitchen, three bedrooms, two baths and a balcony. We offer cable TV with many channels (english, french, italian, german), VCR and DVD player. You can also use our washing machine.

I can't get that beautiful place out of my mind! Hans and Luise were the best host and hostess that I have ever met. Their home was beautiful and had all the amenities that anyone could ever want. The rooms were so spacious and we were so relaxed. We had lots of questions about Austria and they knew all the answers. The Altmuellers were more like a brother and sister than a host/hostess. We felt so comfortable and at home with them, laughing and talking. They gave us excellent advice and directions and helped us in so many ways. It was definitely the best vacation I have ever had and it's all because of these fine Austrians. We would like to return in the next year or so. The house is just outside of Salzburg, in a beautiful area with the most gorgeous flowers everywhere! You can be in Salzburg in a few minutes and there are so many beautiful places to see in that area. If you are thinking of a trip to the Salzburg area, you couldn't find a better place to stay! The Altmuellers will certainly make your stay one of the best and the most memorable!

We had a lovely holiday in Salzburg. We stayed for 5-6 days in this house and we really enjoyed it. The Altmullers were very kind and hospitable. They guided us very well on what to see in and around Salzburg. The house is located 15-20 minutes from Salzburg and close to the lake district of Austria. It is good for families as you can walk around the farms close to the house and is away from hustle and bustle of the city, but at the same time close to all amenities etc. The house is very well equipped in every way. I found a lot of items in the kitchen which made it really easy for me to cook (especially as my Indian husband is vegetarian). I would definitely recommend anyone from the UK considering a holiday to Austria to stay there.

This holiday apartment was unexpected yet wonderful in every single way! The proprietors of the apartment (who live in the downstairs portion of the house) were the most hospitable hosts and worked tirelessly to make our experience pleasant. They were very friendly to all of us, especially our two small children and treated us more like family than mere guests. The house was well-kept, quiet and peaceful. I would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment for any family who wants to experience Salzburg but would rather not be in the center of the city.

We stayed in this Vacation Rental during our last summer holiday. We stayed at the same house using the 1st floor. The house is very tidy and big enough for the whole family of 2 adults and 6 children. We've got all the needed support and even more of whatever help we asked for from the family. Indeed felt as they are part of our family. They helped us of where to go for shopping and what attractions to see. I would highly recommend this properity for people with kids, especially those who are looking to have a very peacfull and comfortable stay.

Exceptional Stay in Salzburg

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay in Salzburg. The Altmullers are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The apartment is meticulously maintained and extraordinarily comfortable. It is nestled in a majestic small village just outside of Salzburg and offers easy access to the lake country and to the Salzburg city. We could not have asked for more! I would highly recommend this home!
