Algar Seco Parque is a quiet, small, private holiday complex directly above the spectacular Algar Seco cliffs. The city, shops, numerous restaurants and fine sand beaches are within walking distance. The apartment is spacious and furnished with Portuguese crafts and art: hand-made furniture, hand-painted tiles and valuable rugs define the overall picture. The apartment is open to the ocean and offers an unrivalled view. A large pool, a heated pool and child's pool are surrounded by a spacious terrace with enough space for sun beds and umbrellas. The BistroBar at the pool offers breakfast, snacks, dinner and naturally drinks and ice cream at any time of the day. The ladies at the reception speak fluent German and English. The apartment for 4 people has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 1 living room, a kitchen as well as a balcony.

Praia do Carvoeiro is an old fishing village with many small private houses in the town and in the vicinity. There is a grandiose view of the ocean and its picturesque rising rows of houses. Numerous pubs and restaurants offer a change of pace for the afternoons and evenings. Grocery stores, butchers, newspaper stands, markets, chemists, German speaking doctors - everything is provided. Nearby, there are tennis courts and golf courses, riding stable and surf board and boat rentals. At the edge of town you can rent a boat that gives tours of numerous picturesque caves and coves along the coast. Many interesting places can be easily reached from Carvoeiro by car. Silves, Loulé, Portimao, Lagos, Sagres, Cabo de SaoVincente, Faro, Estói, Olhao and Tavira.
