Washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ, various terraces and the 5x8m pool guarantee comfortable hours in a perfect surrounding of this detached house. If for romantic vacations for couples, for a family with kids or four adults - Gran Palmera is the perfect basement for beautiful holidays far away from huge tourism spots. Sant Joan - the majorcan village in the heart of the island with its originally authentic charm - the perfect basement either for a calm vacation or trips all over the island.

In the heart of the island, almost in the geographical centre you’ll find the village Sant Joan. The village with it’s nice and calm charm surprises with a wonderful church and a Mansion called 'Els Calderers' which leads you into the world of old and rich majorcan aristocracy, Landlords who used to live there many years ago. It takes you also only 5 Min. by car to get to Sineu, another nice village well known for it´s market which takes place every Wednesday from 8.30-13.00hrs.

Diese Finca zu mieten war das Beste was wir jemals gemacht haben. Wir hatten einen grandiosen Urlaub mit vier Personen erlebt. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und zur Begrüßung fanden wir einen Obstkorb und einer Flasche Wein vor ( vielen Dank ). Als das elektrische Tor sich öffnete war die Überraschung sehr groß . Die Finca hat eine tolle Anlage mit schönen großen Palmen, einen liebevoll eingerichteten Innenhof und einen tollen sauberen Pool. Der Innenraum ist schön groß und mit seiner Dekoration sehr gemütlich. Die Küche ist mit allem eingerichtet was man so braucht, sogar der Kühlschrank hat eine Gefrierkombi für Eiswürfel. Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Anlage liegt sehr romantisch ohne störende Nachbarn zwischen den Feldern, sehr zentral auf der Insel. Ein Auto sollte man haben um den Einkauf und die Insel zu erkunden. Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal dort.

Wir waren Anfang Oktober 2009 für 17 Tage dort einquartiert und haben die Tage in vollen Zügen genossen. Nochmals vielen Dank an den Besitzer Guillermo (Companero) der diese Finca und das dazu gehörige Pferd Blanco fast täglich betreut. Er trinkt übrigens gerne ein Heineken.Die Finca liegt zwischen Feldern und man blickt von der Terasse
aus auf das ca. 2 km entfernten Örtchen. Alles ist tadellos in Schuss. Mit einem Mietwagen ist dies sicherlich der geeignete Ort um die Insel zu er-kunden, da man alle Ziele relativ schnell erreichen kann. Essen kann man
am Besten in Sinue. Dort gibts für jeden Geschmack etwas.
Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Alles bestens - Rundum Sorglos Finca

Die Finca Gran Palmera können wir bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen. Sie bietet Alles für einen gemütlichen Urlaub für 4 Personen incl. Wasch- und Spülmaschine. Das Highlight ist sicher der top gepflegte Pool, auch die Außenanlage ist ansprechend mit großen Palmen, Feigen-und Olivenbäumen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist landestypisch, alte Bauerngerätschaften hängen an den Wänden. Insgesamt ist Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Betreuung vor Ort hat sehr gut geklappt, der Vermieter (liebe Grüße!) kommt täglich vorbei, um sich um den Pool und das liebste Pferd der Insel zu kümmern, das auf dem angrenzenden Grundstück sein Gnadenbrot bekommt (Hola Blanco!). Die Lage ist optimal, um alle Teile der Insel zu erkunden, in San Joan gibt es einen Supermarkt, der recht gut sortiert ist. Ein gutes, landestypisches Restaurant mit zivilen Preisen ist in Petra und heißt "Es Celler". Wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder.
