Beaches and beach clubs:
The most famous beach club along the Plage de Pampelonne are (from north to south): Tropezina, Tabou Plage, Tahiti-Plage, a large old complex that is famous with people from 'showbiz' and is home to a hotel and different shops; Bora Bora and the very elegant Moorea; La Voile Rouge - a meeting place for nude bathers; the Sun 77 with teenager hysteria; Force 7 and Le Club du Planteur, both quiet; the legendary Club 55, the oldest (founded in 1955 by the Colmont family) and the most classic of all; Key West, Maison Ocoa, Nioulargo with traditional and indo-Chinese restaurants; La Plage des Jumeaux, known for its Provencal kitchen; the stylish L'Epi-Plage; La Cabane Bambou; Tropicana, another favorite place for jet set people with a good local kitchen; and La Bastide Blanche, which can only be reached by boat and is thus very quiet and of course very exclusive.
Restaurants and nightlife:
The decision between the numerous bars and restaurants along the harbor, in the small alleys of the old city and restaurants and lounges on the Place des Lices is hard to make. In addition to this, there are the somewhat further away 'secret tips' and 'evergreens' like, for example, 'Chez Camille' on Cap Camarat (Bonnes patios), which has been known for decades for its excellent fish dishes and Bouillabaisse. Do not miss your chance to try out 'Planters Punch' as an aperitif! As far as the night life goes, no wishes remain open. Let yourself be enchanted and enjoy the nights of Saint Tropez. Your accommodation in Maison Rue Saint Tropez gives you the advantage of not having to use a car in order to drive back home.
Shopping, art and culture:
In addition to the famous international brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Hermés, Cavalli, etc., there are also a lot of smaller, creative and original shops and boutiques where you can explore and find different things. From Tuesday to Saturday, the picturesque weekly market takes place on the Place des Lices. In addition to fresh groceries, flowers, dresses and miscellaneous souvenirs, on Saturdays you will also find a lot of antique traders with their treasures in the back area of the place. For those interested in culture, there is the Musée de l'Annonciade with the exhibition of impressionists (like Paul Signac) or the Maison des Papillons in Dany Lartigue, the exhibitions in 'Lavoir Vasserot', diverse current events (exhibitions, antique exhibitions, concerts, and lectures).
