The villa itself is located on the West coast of Istria in a place called Fazana, also called 'Toscana Croatia'. Fazana is a real tourist destination with a small port and a mini market for fresh groceries, in the north of Pula City. The village is ideal for people who seek for culture, this small Mediterranean place has a beautiful beach and is surrounded by rocky hills with vintages, bunches and picturesque villages. In Istria many people still speak Italian, and also the kitchen has many Italian features, because this region was under the influence of Italy. From the villa there is a splendid view on the Adriatic Sea and the islands of the National Park Brijuni. By boat you can visit this park with 12 small and 2 large islands. The climate is perfect. It is not too warm, in spite of the summer temperature of 30-32 C° with a frequent nice breeze. The apartment lies only 200 meters from the village and 100 meters near a bus stop, which you can get on to visit Pula.

There is a beach within a walking distance, with the very clear azure-blue water of Adriatic Sea. The surroundings of Istria are the most popular destination of Croatia. Tourist here won't be bored. Nature, culture, beach and recreation can be found close to each other. Especially on the west coast of the peninsula there are well-known bathing resorts such as Porec, Umag, Vrsar, Rovinj, Pula and Medulin. The coast is a little rougher, with rock and pebble beaches as well as baaitjes. Especially popular are the numerous bars, cafés, restaurants and discotheques. There are a few things that you can’t miss: Visit in Pula one of best kept Roman amphitheatres in the world. Take the boat for a day trip to Venetië. Visit national park Brijuni, which has 14 islands. Here you can visit the fort Mali Brijun and the safari park. The archipelago has valuable cultural heritage from Roman and Byzantine time. The basils or Euphrasius, in Porec is part of the UNESCO cultural heritage.

Die Wohnungen sind sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. An den Strand und zum idyllischen Fischerhafen sind es wenige hundert Meter. Das Dorf ist wunderschön und die Vermieter sind freundlich, aufgeschlossen und hilfsbereit. Wir durfetn mit ihnen und ihren kroatischen Freunden einen unvergesslichen Grillabend am Haus erleben. Wir waren mit unseren zwei Kindern ( 1 1/2 und 4 Jahre) dort. Wir empfehlen die Wohnung in unserem Bekanntenkreis weiter, weil wir uns in der Villa Croatia rundum wohl fühlen konnten.
