Average joggers can get to the government district in about 40 minutes, another option for getting to know Berlin. In the other direction, you can run about 10 minutes to the Charlottenburg castle and through the small gardens. On the Richard-Wagner-Platz you will find a fitness studio and the MiSalsa, one of the best salsa-clubs in Berlin. The MiSalsa invites all dancers to for introductory courses. For those who want to climb (this is also possible in Berlin), you can visit the Mercedes world on the Salzufer or you can climb the cliffs of the Teufelberg.

Culture: Old Charlottenburg with its marked paths are located on your doorstep. The German Opera and the Charlottenburg castle with Belvedere can be reached by foot. In the castle you will visit the museum or marvel at the ballroom. In the castle garden (which was arranged according to a French style) you will find the mausoleum for Queen Luise. Across from the castle you will find the Berggrün museum with works from classic modernists like Picasso, Klee, Giacometti, Matisse and others. The Scharf-Gesternberg collection shows works from surrealists and their forerunners. You can marvel at artists Piranesi, Goya, Redon, but also Dalí, Magritte, Max Ernst and Dubuffet. A little way away you will find the Brähan museum with a lovely art nouveau collection. By the way- the original famous crown princess groups for Luise and Friederike von Schadow can be found twice in Berlin: made of marble in the old museum and made of plaster in the Friedrichswerderschen church.

Eating, drinking and shopping: On the side streets of the Wilmerdorf street you will find restaurants and bars for all tastes. Across from the Charlottenburg castle you will find the Klausener Platz as an entrée for the Danckelmannkiez. German, Italian, Turkish restaurants and cafes for all budgets invite you. Kurfürstendamm is also not far away. In addition to restaurants and cafes, you can shop as you would like - a lot of fashion designers and famous brands have their showrooms on the Ku'damm.
