Casa Polin is a characteristic rustic cottage, set in the stunning and tranquil Andalucía countryside. It is fully refurbished as a detached cottage to accommodate 2 people for self-catering or bed and breakfast. It has a traditional style, which will let you enjoy very comfortable holidays. The cottage is extremely spacious and of high quality, within its extensive grounds which include a large swimming pool set in the olive grove and outstanding views of the surrounding Serrania of Ronda. Ronda can be reached by car within 15 minutes. Ronda is one of the oldest towns of Spain, famous for culture, shopping, music, restaurants and its many 'tapa' bars scattered throughout the town. To Jerez, where an airport is located, you drive about 90 minutes. The same is with Seville and Málaga. It is one hour to the beaches of Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz. A drive to Córdoba will take you 2 hours, to Granada 2.5 hours. In our valley you will find a very calm area for total relaxation.

Acinipo: The archaeological site of Acinipo is located over one big limestone hill of a tertiary origin, having a middle height of 999 m over the sea level. This rise at the valley of Ronda gave it an important strategic value, which was specially considered at the Pre Roman age when the human settlement had to be established. Ronda: Rising amid a ring of dark angular mountains is the Andalucía town of Ronda. Built on an isolated ridge of the sierra, it is split in half by the gaping river gorge of the River Tajo with a sheer drop of 130m on three sides. Grazalema: In 1977 UNESCO declared the Grazalema Natural Park a Reserve of the Biosphere in recognition of its astounding natural values. The limestone rock forms spectacular features of immense caves, crags and canyons while a dense Mediterranean forest of cork oak, common oak and wild olive covers and fills the landscape.

Notes: Very spacious sitting/ dining room. A huge wooden table for three people and a fully fitted kitchen with fridge/ freezer, microwave, electric hob and toaster. Moorish doors opening onto a terrace with barbecue area and beautiful landscaped garden. The cottage has its own parking place and its own entrance, which guarantees privacy. A spacious terrace with traditional terracotta floors surrounds the huge swimming pool, which can be shared by the guests of the cottage. The 'casa rural' is located in an olive grove with 170 old olive trees, which are harvested by hand. The trees produce top quality extra virgin olive oil. The private terrace with its barbecue and a wooden table as well as the deckchairs invites you to enjoy peaceful holidays. Returning to the cottage in the evening, the patio is a marvellous place to be. Imagine sitting out in the open air, bathed in the warmth of the Andalusia night, gazing at the Roman ruins of Acinipo and the millions of stars above. A perfect place.

Dieses wirklich liebevoll gestaltete Haus mitten in der Natur bietet alle Voraussetzungen für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt. Die Natur drumherum ist wunderbar, das Haus selbst sowie die Terrasse nebst Pool (den wir im April wegen der kühlen Temperaturen allerdings nur von außen bewundern konnten) sind absolut geschmackvoll angelegt und für Tierfreunde gibt es so Einiges zum Streicheln. Die Besitzer verwöhnen die Gäste mit allerlei Leckereien wie selbstgebackenem Brot, Marmelade und Olivenöl von der Finca und sind in allen Lagen absolut hilfsbereit. Für Menschen, die Ruhe und Natur lieben ist das Haus sehr empfehlenswert!

Mein Freund, meine Tochter und ich wir verbrachten auf der Finca las Alfaguaras einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Wir genossen die sonnigen ruhigen Tage und konnten wieder Kraft tanken für den Alltag. Die Gastgeber waren reizend, sie verwöhnten uns mit selbstgebackenem Brot und Leckerein aus der Region.
Auch die Spielabende mit unserer Tochter in diesem wirklich liebevoll-stilvoll eingerichteten Haus sind unvergessliche Momente, die diesen Urlaub für uns einfach perfekt gemacht haben.
