Montaione: The country estate Baccelli lies in a picturesque and peaceful location amongst gentle hills approx. 3km from Montaione with views down to the Elsa valley. It offers its guests wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, the grounds of the estate stretching down the hillside to the valley. Here one finds the interesting pheasant farm of the owners. The former farm house was lovingly and accurately restored by the owners in 2002 and converted into 6 well-kept apartments. The owner lives in a further apartment. The guests have use of a lovely swimming pool (13 x 6.6m) with sun loungers and parasols in a well tended garden, as well as covered pavilions with tables and chairs (gazebos). Washing machine (fee applies) and mountain bike hire. Shops, restaurants and bars are in Montaione. Parking at or below the house.

Montaione: This small, sympathetic place is because of the western edge of the Chiantigebietes on a hill with far view on a wonderful, partly forest-rich landscape. Into and around Montaione the guest becomes acquainted with the simple life on the country and to love and can on trips much art and culture nevertheless at the same time enjoy. Central situation for the Thermalkur in the Gambassi approx. 8 km, for a golf course in the Castelfalfi approx. 10 km, for trips after Certaldo, medieval Borgo, homeland of the famous Italian poet Boccaccio.
